Just a bad day, but last night was bad too...
He had a decent pmps which was 274 last night
his +5 was 360
AMPS - 379
+5 - 360

Yuk all around us....not sure what has happened, maybe settling into the 2.5 and
it is not enough
I cant raise until tomorrow night,
he has been hiding all day, does not want to do anything or come out
I guess the fur shot really upset things...dont know

anyway..hope everyone has a great day with great numbers!
 
There you are, Denise :-) I've been looking around LL for you and Shakes!

I'm so sorry to read that Shakes isn't feeling up to par! I'm a wee bit concerned that you say he's hiding... Is he showing any signs of discomfort or pain? Is there anything unusual going on today (noises? smells? strangers?) that may have put him into a bit of a funk?

I know it can be so frustrating not to see the numbers one's hoping for! Try not to lose heart, ok? Looking over his SS, he also had a not-so-pretty red on the 8th of July, and a couple of days later he gave you such pretty blue and green numbers... Yes, I know, dosage factors in. But for now, remember that things *can* and often *do* improve! Maybe the dose needs a little longer to do its best for Shakes - we can't always stick to the 6-cycle rule, you know - no one ever told our kitties that's what they're meant to stick to, after all ;-)

Chin up, Denise! There may be better times just around the corner. Keep an eye on Shakes and try and see if there's something else that could be bothering him. Stress can wreak such havoc on BGs, no matter how good the dosing.

Thanks for the pep talk
I always seem to get down when I see him so unhappy
He was better later today and his PMPS was 323
so I guess that is a little better!
Everything thing has been the same so I will chalk it up to being in good numbers all
week, then going back into the pinks...he is a boy so he likes his blues..not pink!
 
You've read Hershey's condo today, you know I feel your frustration...Hope Shakes is seeing better numbers tonight!

Here's hoping Shakes will soon hit his fitting dose and come down for you. Patience pays off and you've been doing great!
