Yesterday was BLUE day in MannieLand. WOOT!! The Blue Mannie Group was able to perform live on the sunny beaches of NY. Well... at least for a while. Up he went for the PM cycle: a mini bounce from all those low blues he saw today. :? I suspect that the stress of the meds contributes some too - and I will be ever so glad when they are done. Only 2 more days!! and only two more days of butt washing! WOO HOO!, especially on the last one. :lol: :lol: I sure did like yesterday's blues, and really hope that he can repeat today.... All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It feels so great to be able to day that. :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: Mannie had a great day yesterday. I really think he feels best when he is in the low blues. We had a great sunny day - with a few thunder episodes, but he still went out to enjoy the sun. They rounds were made, the perimeter secured, the ground cover sat in, the kingdom surveyed. One happy kitty! The thunder didn't seem to bother him either. We don't normally get alot of that kind of weather - rolling thunder - but it's been consistent for two days. Mannie has taken it in stride: tilts his head, listens, and then goes about his business: usually nanner tending. What a guy! his morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (the president founder and CEO can still claim his title, officially!) - AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie :shock: Since the appy stuff started this is becoming an issue again. Elsa , however, still thinks it has her name on it, so yet again I am running interception.... Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Hey everybody! I had such fun at the beach yesterday. What a great day. You guys got anything you wanna do today? Maybe we could do sailing again. What'd'tya think? We gots great weather here, and lots of fishing we could do off of the boat and stuff, and cool beaches for a cookout or sumthin'. You guys in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle & Mannie,

Great that there are only 2 more days of meds! The light at the end of the tunnel is visible!! We are so glad that Mannie is feeling well, eating well, and that normalcy reigns in MannieLand. What's a little shaved belly when there are so many good things happening.

Have a wonderful day today, whatever you decide to do. Mannie, keep it blue (and maybe green later, OK?).

Hi Ella - oh I know - only two more days! he will be so glad. and thanks - me too on his feeling well. We seem to be back to the same ole furry fuzz ball he has always been. And I agree on the shaved belly. He doesn't seem to care, and 99% of the time one can't see it anywyas - an advantage to being a long haired kitty! And thanks - not oo sure on the hike: the weather is deteriorating....

Rusty - SWEET! let's do it then. :cool: I've just about got everything ready! and uhhhhhh.... including rain gear.... no worries though! we will find a sunny place! ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - bummer on the lost post. I hate it when that happens, and I do it often enough.... :? yes only two more days!!!! WOO HOO! and I agree on the numbers. He does well in the low blues. and me too on the permission slip. I think he will, it will just have to be a closer to home, shorter one, which is OK.

Hi Liz - It si so good to see Blue again this AM. means a short hike for me today, but that is ok by me. and yes (!!!) on the only two ore days. he will be SO HAPPY!

Hi Georgia - No worries really! We got through the U/S ,and he's doing god on the parasite meds - almost done with those, so all in all: things are fantabulous in MannieLand. I loved the blue this morning - I just wish he could have held onto it. OH well - maybe he will find his way back tonight. Paws crossed.

Hi Ann - YAY! My blue smilie! and hanks - it was fun. I went and hiked the full trail for a pace I take Nicholas to alot: Lake Padden in Bellingham. tnh lake loop trail is wonderful, very easy, and I also did the upper trails too. Had to do some climbing there, :shock: :? :? It was one of those hikes to see how friendly the whole thing would be for him. Loop trail would be perfect for when he gets older and just wnats to hike. Found a great rock throwing spot too. :lol: :lol: . so anyways - nice time!

Tess!!!! No worries on the BMG - I kinda lost the blue part of the day anyways.... :? :? BRING LOTS OF CRISPS!!! Maggie gots the niptinis covered, I gots some spicy buffalo wings. YUMMMMMMMMM! Cool on the Titanic thing - and uhhhhh.... I SWEAR on the scuba gear. heeheehee.... See you ! ~ Mannie

Hi Ann - yeah, me too on the just a blip for that +10. Pmps was a little better.... and yes Bellingham is up north, maybe a half hour from the border - not too sure on that. it is an hour and a half drive from my house. Its a good drive, once one gets passed Everett.... :? I don't mind it, if I know I have a great destination to go too... SWEET! LOL - not beyond me to drive great distances for a short hike. if the hike is good, the drive is no matter. :lol: :lol: yes, I am weird.... :o :lol: :lol:

Hi Melissa - I so agree - sheshhh on the pink bounce. it seems to be his new fav thing to do: nice AM cycle and then BAM: pink just before PMPS. :shock: and YUPP: all s going well - weekend has been good, productive, and relaxing too. YAY!

Hi Barb - Oh I hope so... at least the PMPS was done some, so maybe he will before nadir. as long as he doesn't go diving! :shock: And a big OH YES on the only two moree days of the meds. I just gave him #9, so now only 1. WOO HOO!!!!!! and thanks - evening is shaping up to be a good one. :-D

Mannie ..the goal is to start and stop the day in blue!! Especially such a great day!

I hope he gets back on the auto feeder soon.
