7/15 Leo PMPS 110 We made it to Ft. Collins!!

Good Morning LL,

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our condo last night. I feel bad i'm not condo visiting too.

We had a long night here, soon as the lights went off Leo starts meowing and continues to do so all night, at one point i got mad at him....then immediately felt bad about it. Needless to say i didn't get much sleep.

He had a good test, shoot and feed. I had to shake him awake this morning because he was sleeping so soundly. I'm not surprised by the pink number this morning, since he dipped down into greens yesterday and was eating MC fuds all day and early this morning.

I took him for a walk this morning after his breffis and now he's napping at my feet. I'm trying to find the energy to drag my lazy bones outta bed and get packed up to leave again. Supposed to be 100 degrees here today......whew!!!

We'll check in from our new home away from home in Fort Collins tonight.

Hi Tracy - bummer on the pink, but understandable after the greens and with the road trip. At least the 300 is a safe traveling number.

:shock: on the nighttime yowling. Leo, dude, what's up with that? Must have been the new surroundings. Very nice on the walk - how great that he will do that with you. Good job Leo.

have a safe trip today and enjoy Ft Collins.

Hopefully, the up side of the pinks and Leo being restless last night is that his numbers will be fine during the ride and he'll sleep.

Safe travels and I'll be looking for your note once you're in Ft. Collins.

got caught up on your travels yesterday - and hoping today is uneventful. funny that leo wants the windows down - maybe he feels a touch of claustrophobia! :lol:

Hi Tracy - WE'VE ARRIVED!!! I'm exhausted - I think this old girl needs more than 4 hours of sleep at night! Checked out the vet school, settled into hotel, and gonna head out in a little while for more FF and kitty litter, and maybe some nourishment for ME! :o

I posted on Lev just a few minutes ago, and that's where I'll be during this trip. Feel free to pop in or give me a call as you get closer.

Ohhhh poor Leo and the crying. Poor you too with so little sleep and I know you don't like getting mad at him. Hope you are there soon and get some real sleep tonight. I'll be thinking about you all day tomorrow and waiting for updates.

We've ARRIVED!!!! :-D Whew sure feels nice to be in our home away from home, we checked into some really nice digs, its like a 2 bedroom apartment and it has 3 TV's :lol: 1 more tv woulda been nice so Leo could have 1 all to himself.

Leo did excellent in the car today, meowed his face off for the first hour or so then settled down for a nap and he napped most of the day. It was brutally hot in Montana and Wyoming, every time we stopped to let Leo have a bathroom break he would instantly start panting and want back in the car, once in the car he would plant himself 2 inches away from the vent blowing the air conditioning full blast. He ate 15% FF medleys all day and still has some nice blue numbers.

HI LU & GRAYSON!!!! We'll most likely stay "home" tonight, i'm pooped, i drove the whole way here while all of my passengers napped the day away. :roll: We should plan on doing lunch tomorrow Lu, i'll pop over and ask you in Lev.

Leo is patiently waiting for supper and his shot, will check back a lil later.

Yo Leo! Are there any mice in the motel? I'm thinkin' good thoughts for you, man. Don't forget that the KTSS will be over every day to help get vetty smell off of you and to prepare you some good fuds. Say hi to Grayson for me,

For what it's worth, years ago when I traveled to a cat show with my deaf white foldie and stayed in a motel, she started screaming when I turned out the lights to go to sleep. I had to turn on the light in the bathroom to quiet her down. To this day during the night I will find her sleeping near a nightlight or where it is lit enough for her to see. I'm not saying Leo is deaf, but adding darkness to the unfamiliar surroundings may have freaked him out too much.

Looking forward to hearing about your adventure with Leo.
