7/15 Grayson - We've Arrived!

Hello all -

After much anticipation, we've arrived in Colorado for Grayson's SRT procedures. Yeah!!!

There was much to do to get out of town, but once we got into the car, the adventure had started!!

Remember a moving "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"? Well, so far today, Grayson has ridden in a car, plane, escalator, high speed rail (from the gate to the terminal), moving sidewalks, a rental car, and now a hotel room where he's finally starting to relax. He seems to have gotten his appetite back... usually he'd have eaten half a dozen cans by now. He just had 1.5. So hopefully he'll be pretty comfortable by the morning. I ran a few tests - after we got north of Denver, and at the airport before we took off (AMPS - adjusted per CSU).

I've been checking all day for your first days adventure. This is going to be the adventure of a lifetime.

It sounds like Grayson did fine on his travels. Yay!

Now you both can settle in and relax tonight and get ready for more new adventures tomorrow.

It's good to be here... Nothing like a day of travel to remind you that you're not 20 any more...as if my body hadn't already done that over and over again!!! So glad there was a direct flight!!!
 
So glad to see an update from you! Traveling always wears me out too and that's without traveling with a kitty. You're an awesome momma to Grayson. I hope you're able to relax and get a good nights sleep. I can't wait to hear more about Grayson's treatment.

We've arrived too!!! I'm glad to hear you both arrived safely. :-D

Well how did your boy do on the plane? Did he end up serenading everyone? Leo did well, slept most of the day away and ate like a king all day (HC fuds). I think i am just going to stay "home" tonight, i'm pooped because all of my passengers (Leo, sister and niece) slept the whole day while i drove. We should plan on doing lunch tomorrow, what do you think?

We'll be at CSU tomorrow at 9:30, you and Grayson are there at 8:00 right? See you there Lu, can't wait to meet you guys :-D :-D
 
What an adventure for Grayson (and you too Lu!) That was a long way to travel.
I'm sending you lots of good wishes for the treatment.

I hope you and Tracy have a great time visiting... kind of an unusual place to meet! But glad you are there for each other.
Can't wait to hear more and hope everything goes smoothly for both Grayson and Leo. :mrgreen:

Hello all. Tracy and I are waiting patiently. The docs have been really great so far. Leo should be in for. CT now,Grayson is done w CT but having a scope of his intestine (thickened wall). Thanks for all the well wishes. We'll keep you posted on their progress.
