Nice shooting! I see that 48. I would feed her a little and test again in 25 to 30 minutes.

A little busy here. Last test @ 2.5 was 39. Have given her lc with karo and hc. Gonna test now. SS is being updated.

Hi Dyana,

I didn't feed her hc at her last test when she gave me the 55. Should I have? She is not eating on her own so I'm syringing. Will test again in 10 minutes.

I just gave her another tsp of hc through a syringe. I'd like to see her come up a bit more.

Well I think we have our work cut out for us today.. She's back down to 39. I syringed 1.5 tsp hc and will retest in 15-20.

Wooooo, Let's bring that up a bit Ella. Poor mom must be getting tired by now. She's really giving you a workout today, Tamara! Great job so far, keep it up. Pretty soon she should start rising on her own.

Thanks for visiting everyone. I'm happy to see her rising a bit higher. It's most likely due to the 4 tsp of hc she's gotten in the last hour. Her poor ears are a mess!
I keep on lathering on the polysporin but she's not happy with all of the pokes. Melanie: Unfortunately she nadirs late so unless she bounces, I think I'll need to help her surf this one out.

Yeah! The Ella we know is back! Congrats on the reduction! But stay up nicely now Ella.

Have you thought of getting narrower pokies? I recently switched to the OneTouch 33 gauge lancets and Neko is liking the difference on her ears.

Phew! I was worried I would have to shoot a lower number as she stayed pretty low all day. Hopefully the reduction will help her surf these numbers over the course of the evening. That would be nice!

Thanks for the tip on the 33 gauge lancets Wendy. I think I'll look into getting them for Ms. Ella. Thanks to all who stopped in with their words of encouragement and support for Ella and I. Much appreciated :-D
