We are planning on shaving Zener's dose while Anne is gone but I stuck with the f1.25u this morning since he is so high. :evil: Looks like a bit of a bounce from the fast drop last night, which was rather traumatic for the beans in light of his non-existent appy. Ah well, a little cypro changed that. :roll: Appy is good this morning too.

Helen: Thanks for the visit. Zener's stay at the lagoon was short so it was easy to miss. :roll: We'll see what today brings.

Happy Caturday LL! Cool and cloudy here and trying so hard to rain but just sprinkles so far. Paws crossed.

Morning everyone! Zener dude! PINK? come on down. No doubt on the bounce, one has to love those fast dives - Mannie always does the same. We end up ink the next day.... Does look like he is headed down - Go Zener!!

Hi Liz, glad Zener's appy is better and numbers coming down slowly. I bet that drop was a scare and glad the cipro kicked in to help. Thanks to you and Anne for all the poo patrol and vines. It just worked. :-D Have a nice day.

I'm glad the tummy issues have been resolved. perhaps stress from the last couple of days. When does Anne leave?

Tess is waiting for the Z-man to come back down to the blues and join the BMG again.

@Ann & Maggie - the drops always give us a little thrill of the not so pleasant kind, it's a good thing we are not monitoring our blood pressure while we monitor his blood glucose. :roll: We are so grateful just a tiny bit of cipro works for him. Great LB report - poo patrol, at your service!

@Ann & Tess - he's back to blue and joining in with Tess and the BMG. Tummy definitely better, but not at its best yet. Just comes and goes, good days and bad days, but more good than bad lately. We just about get to where we stop worrying so much about whether he will eat or not and then bam, all of a sudden his tummy revolts. :evil: Could be stress from the roofers and my imminent departure, but he doesn't seem to stress too long on such things. It's likely just the FD. I leave tomorrow night for Phoenix, will spend the night by the airport and fly out to Glasgow early Monday morning. I will gone for 11 darks and get home late Thurs 26 July from this trip.

Nothing like a 100 point drop between +4 and +6 to get the beans' attention. We oughta be used to these surprises by now. ;-)

What a nice slide down to blue! Next...green. You know the drill Zener. Great to hear the appy is better. I hope you got some real rain. It downpoured here last night for 10 minutes and it was beautiful but then the sun came back out. ohmygod_smile I'm sick of sun. Hope you have a great, non-drama night!

@Barb - thanks for the travel good wishes! Zener decided he was done with the blues and kept on sliding into PMPS. :shock:

@Melissa & Mr T - as you predicted, green it is. He loves these slides and late nadirs. Appy good tonight so far, so it is less stressful to shoot in the 60s. ;-) We got about 1/4" rain with more in the forecast. I know what you mean about the incessant sun. :evil:

Today was weigh day and Zener weighed 12lbs 4 oz. He has been on a gradual upswing for several weeks and we are delighted to see his body using his fuds so well. We are going to try to keep his daily food amount between 8.5-9oz to see if he will maintain but not keep gaining. Right around 12lbs is perfect for him.

Shaved his dose tonight back to 1.25u. The last time he was at 1.25u, it didn't get his numbers as low as would have liked and it was the first time we fattened by a drop and got action. He has gotten below 50 one time at the f1.25u but I am leaving tomorrow evening for 10 days, and we would like for there to be less or no drama for Liz as sole BIC!

We are getting a real gully washer for us, regular thunderstorm and probably already an inch in about an hour. Still coming down. Woo hoo! Despite the rain and thunder, Zener wanted his picnic on his porch spot, the only dry place out there right now. Tillie went out for a nanosecond and decided she was done for the night. :lol:
