Yesterday's condo
Shadow is busy grooming now....he has been such a sweetie lately. He comes over to me at snack time and just sits and stares up at me. Lots of kitty kisses now and I love it! He is back to his comfort zone of the 160 numbers. LOL.
Thank you Monique for your post yesterday. I will relax and watch him bask in the healing numbers for awhile. Whew. Guess he will earn a dosecrease when he is ready. My DS doesn't have a drooler...it's just herself visiting....and she decided to spend another night with us. Raja is keeping the bed warm for her so far this morning and we are having a great time talking.
And CD, yes, it is so nice that he is being such a good boy. DS is watching me test him and asking all sorts of good questions. I bet that she will be fine with testing him if I should need her to come and stay. I can always get the vet tech to come and give the shots, but it's the 4 am/pm hours that worry me. The hours after the shot is given and if she could be here in an emergency, I would be thrilled. (her son, my DN is getting married on Oct 2nd though so I will need a Plan B for that time...months away yet...) 2 1/2 months away...we shall see! :mrgreen:

Shadow gave you such a nice day yesterday. And another backup for petsitting, that is gold.

Shadow sure had a nice flat blue cycle last night. I hope he has another flat blue one today, he's on a good start for it. Enjoy you day with you sister!

Hey Pat - enjoy your time with your DS. Wouldn't that be great to have a backup like that. Nice! oh - and hear ya on the 4am/pm hours - it is a tough one to cover.

I SOOOOOO Understand your feelings about going away!!!- I am already having anxiety attacks about leaving Moonie in the care of our DPS & my DH!!--Neither has made the effort to learn how to test...I'll just keep her on 0.5U while I'm gone & pray a lot!!
No, I want the DPS at least to learn how to test--DH is too klutzy(no really) to test or shoot and has problems following directions ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

Last time I was able to stop by, Shadow was really worrying you (with numbers and maybe even eating?). Ive been skimming subject lines and noticed he really pulled through for you and started doing better! Nice Job Shadow. He is really trying so hard, isnt he???

I see you have a lot going on as well. I hope time with your DS and any other visitors is restful and fun. I hope you are getting some time for yourself and feeling good.

He didn't eat a lot at +4 so when I check him at +7, I was not so surprised at the 77. The not eating too much AND the fact that DS and I were going out shopping right about then. :lol: He had something to eat and then by +7=47 so out came a little HC gravy and he began to surf nicely. So, he earned his first <50 number today. We did ran out to some stores quickly....it was nice. Great day Shadow...many thanks sweet boy!
