Hi All!
I don't think I have posted since I left on vacation over a month ago! :shock:
The anxiety of leaving Tippie (foster kitty) with a house sitter disappeared within the first 24 hours. It took her a few days to come out from under the bed, but they both ended up doing great and enjoying each others company. My understanding is there was quite a bit of chicken bribery to help develop their friendship. :lol: I had a fabulous time, too.
Since my return, I have been busy having fun. :mrgreen: It motivated me to get up and out everyday, spending much less time on the computer. I suppose the fact that I came home and a few weeks later I.....*drum roll*......was offered/accepted a job has helped my spirits tremendously! Seven months of unemployment. I consider myself lucky. My job starts mid August, so I still have a few more weeks to relax and have fun!!!! :thumbup Oh ya, and learn how to wake up earlier than the shot time I had set for Latte. :-Q
Speaking of Latte...we are approaching 2yrs of her physical absence early this week. Maybe I will start a condo for her...maybe not. :YMSIGH: We shall see. I am doing ok with it for the most part. As much as I would like to honor her by officially adopting Tippie on that day, I still cannot seem to commit.
Anywhoo....I hope everyone is doing well. Always thinking of you guys, even when I am not present.
