Good Morning LL! DH took over the early morning shift at 3:30 when the TDF coverage started ohmygod_smile ~O) ~O) ~O) , and I still slept through an hour or so. Tess was safely in greens at 86, so nice surf yesterday for her. We have the usual marine layer this morning, which started yesterday afternoon at about 2 PM. We may have a rare rain front moving through :!: confused_cat :lol: . But I doubt it will do anything here.

WCR All 5 Ps this morning, and Clean Plate Club membership attained in short order. Tess is now at the windows looking for some sign of the sun, or the stray birdie or two.

What a nice day for Tess yesterday - I am sorry that I missed it. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: What a great cycle. Mannie was so thrilled to be able to play in the green lagoon with his friends.... :-D She is starting out well today too! More greens Tess?

Enjoy your day today. And possible rain? seriously? we have that marine layer too.... :roll: thunder and lightning this morning too - never did get the rain.

We had le Tour on here too, but at least for us it started at 6:30 am @-)

Michelle, thanks for the ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) I seem to need it more now that I am getting to sleep in than when I had to get up for the shots. ohmygod_smile Only a week left of the Tour though! :o I'll have to start getting up again!

Wow, great day and keep surfing Tess as you are looking pretty in green! :mrgreen: Our marine layer is still here, but makes it feel cooler. Thanks Ann for the info in my condo on the Arkay and which strips to order. It's nice to be able to both order from ADW and also run out to Walmart. Once in a great while they're out of stock at Walmart, but not often.

saw your q about a punkin condo somewhere . . . i haven't opened one for a bit, perhaps tomorrow. kinda the same old same old, you know?

i did wonder, though, how long would it take to show up in his bloodwork that i've changed the phosphorus levels in his food? i can't find the phosphorus % of the fancy feast that i was giving him listed anywhere, so don't know if it's a dramatic reduction or not. he's decided he's willing to eat the Merrick's BG some of the time, so i'm giving him that in the mornings and the crappy quality, yet low phosphorus and he'll eat it, Friskies in the evenings.

Tess is taking an evening break again. She has done so well lately she deserves a night off with her friends.

Julie, we still miss you and would like to hear from you and Punkin. Not much happens around here either, we just keep plugging on.

As for how long before we saw a change, about 3.5 months after we switched Tess had another set of labs because of her UTI. Her Phos went down from 5.4 to 4.6, Creatinine from 2.3 to 2.1 and BUN went up a little from 4.6 to 4.9. USG improved too, from 1.019 to 1.021. Her vet was quiet pleased w/ the improvements. We haven't needed to try a Phos binder yet and the Bun doesn't bother me because that is to be expected w/ a high protein diet. She had been eating a fair amount of FF before I changed her diet.

Thanks for visiting...I haven't been Around much this week between birthday celebrations, work, running errands, yadda yadda yadda.
