Morning! Shadow has 4 Ps so far. He is starting off with a very nice blue for himself. We are due to meet with our new pet sitter this afternoo and I am busy trying to write down instructions.

I am very nervous about this whole thing. This always happens when I try to plan on going away. I really hate leaving my two like this. But family times are important too, right? I know in my heart that this is a good thing for the 4 of us to go away together...who knows how long things will be conducive for that, right? This DPS is recommended by my new vet but she voiced some concerns about testing the kitties so we will go over that. She is used to dealing with diabetic dogs I think.

Hi Pat, good luck with the pet sitter. I missed your trip plans! I hope you have a wonderful time and Shadow and Raja will be fine, especially since it's a ps recommended by your Vetty. When are you leaving?

On another matter :lol: :lol: you caught me with my meter habit. I want you to know i am clean today, yes, mam, you won't see another meter reader today!

Well, the vet office called to say that the pet sitter stopped by andlooked awful...she has been sick so they forced her to go to the hospital....some strange situation this turne out to be. I called another vet office and another tech is coming on Sunday. At least SHE sounds as if she knows what's going on with diabetic kitties. I feel so much better about this person after speaking with her for a few minutes. The other one was really leaving me feeling upset.
So, wish me luck with this....hope it works out or I will be in BIG trouble!!!! nailbite_smile
