A fairly flat yellow cycle last night for PurrFace. I'm looking for mid-low blue or green today. DW fed the dynamic trio this morning and didn't realize she gave them 0% LC until after they were fed. PurrFace has reacted to such LC food early in his cycle before when I've done the same thing. I have now rearranged the cat food section of the pantry. All food is now separated according to carb %. HC/MC top left corner running lowest % in front to highest in back, mid section top has LC 5%. The left bottom is 4%', the mid bottom 3% and the right bottom section 1% & 0%. I also wrote the carb percentage on each can. What an exciting morning....not, just too much time on my hands :lol:.

DGS had a great time with his mother at the water park yesterday. DW & I stayed home to rest up for his swim party today, with friends, at our house. You can never get enough rest in preparation for a bunch of energetic 10-12 year olds. :lol:

I'll be back tonight to visit condos. Looks like Gabby & Gracie are having their own party at the Lagoon already this morning. I hope they have a nice surf and that lots of other kitties join them.

Took. Break from the party to test PF. He didn't eat all of his first or second breakfast so the big drop was kind of expected. Had to coax him with a sprinkling of treats on his food now to get him to eat, which is very unusual for him. Hopefully it's just the heat and humidity. He looks and is acting fine.

It looks like PF wants his share of the attention and doesn't want you focused on the "other" kids! BTW, did anyone ever mention that for some cats, a flat yellow cycle portends an upcoming busy cycle?

I will smile at your kitty fuds pantry. I did the same thing with mine. It was all divided into sections, carb contents written on the can. It was so nice to be able to just grab a can, know what I had without thinking about it. Sure did come in handy when dealing with those sleepy foggy morning food feeds. ;-)

It was a pretty crazy day here today. We had 14 people and 3 cats that were unwavering in their decision to cede any inch of their territory to the human invaders. Not to mention that PurrFace threw a sugar fit just to put icing on the cake :lol:.

Anne. If you could imagine a party for 10-12 year old boys it was just that :smile: .

Sienne. You're definitely right, PurrFace wanted to be sure he wasn't neglected. I was aware that a flat yellow cycle could be an indication that the next cycle might get interesting. I believe it was you, but possibly Marje, that taught me that many months ago and It's help me catch a drop in time more than once.

Mary. The boys were all perfect little gentleman and even cleaned the entire pool area, including the food/drink area when they finished without being asked. The best part...they did a very good job. I left my phone in the house and yes I managed to get a regular ring sound on it. Unfortunately my DGD managed to get out of the pool long enough to play with it. I now have pictures pop up on the screen when someone calls....geesch!! Now when those eccentric relatives call I get to see their face even if I don't answer the phone; modern technology :-x .

Michelle. PurrFace took your advice and surfed well today. The pool party actually turned out to be a lot of fun. My 20 year old DGS did the grilling which I really enjoyed. So far we are enjoying the convenience of the new cat food arrangement and I can definitely see how it will make those foggy early morning feeds easier.

Ann. PurrFace followed your advice as well and surfed most of the afternoon. I'm sorry I have not visited Maggie's condo yet today but we did think about her. I hope she had a good day.

Josie. You are so right about PurrFace thinking pool parties are overrated. We thought if we put him and the 2 civvies in our bedroom with their food and water they would have peace and quiet and less stress. That lasted about 5 minutes. They decided this is their home and they would darn well go where they wanted when they wanted. If one of the boys approached any one of them they stood their ground and gave the kid the evil eye. That's all it took and it wasn't long before the humans were giving the kitties a lot of space :lol:. You're right on the mark about recovering now. I'm pooped and actually thankful that PurrFace has decided to bounce....no PJ party (I hope).
