Well.....there it is. A big ole bounce I guess. He is back to 218@ +3hrs am but whoa, I could not believe the meter this morning. He is acting fine, I just did NOT expect that number. ~~Heavy, heavy sigh~ His body really seems to hate him.
On the bright side, we FINALLY got those bloodtests scheduled for next Monday at 1pm (long drama, end result I'm taking off work) I'm assuming he gets his shot as usual in the morning? And, based on the numbers so far this week, barring a miracle, we'll probably be looking at 8.5units that morning. Or maybe I should wait til Tuesday to increase? He hates to travel, hates the vet, and is always upset so his numbers are going to be wonky that day anyway.
Also, unrelated question: I noticed my Mopem had higher numbers in the warmer weather. I don't have AC, so when it gets hot like it has been here past 2 days, his numbers were higher. Last night was quite hot and humid, despite ceiling fans and exhaust fans. Has anyone noticed a correlation between heat and BG numbers? Maybe I'm just crazy. Feels like it at times.
Thanks for everything, all!
