Good morning LL. What a great :mrgreen: surf last night for the big guy and a lovely AMPS. Roofer ruckus is amongus now and Zener is in his hidey hole making test and feed a little challenging. We added just a sliver of appy stimulant this AM since the number was low and we knew the roofers were coming and it would be hard to get him to eat.

Hey, Z-Man, Sorry you've got all those loud people at your house. I remember when my dad put the new roof on here - Talk about noise! Boy, howdy!! But, you'll like the new roof and it'll keep you dry from the rain. :smile: But, the roofing didn't make me run hide like the VACUUM cleaner does!!! :o Go ahead and eat, not much stops me from eating!! :lol: :lol: -Hershey

I saw that 204 and thought of the roofer coming back! :lol: :lol: Not too bad though, I hope the recovery is as good today!

Ooooooo, I hate the Vacuum Monster! I never had "roofers" though, they sound nasty too! Come and hang out at Rusty's porches, it's nice and quiet there! -- Tess

Wow, thats a great AMPS!! I guess that 204 is from the roofers.

Z-Man, it's OK to be scared of loud noises. My Mommie just found out last weekend how scared I am of thunderstorms! She was looking all over for me I couldn't find me & finally I stuck my head out from under the sofa so she'd know I was OK but just scared. My big ol' drooler brother is more scared of storms than me tho, he sticks himself like glue to Mommie when there's a storm! I prefer hiding under the sofa myself! ~ Tawny

Kitties are delighted to have their yard back and peace and quiet, so are their beans! ;-) Zener is so happy, he's having a picnic on the big cat picnic table.

@Ann & Tess - we suspect the higher numbers this afternoon could be roofer ruckus influenced, though he could be bouncing a little from the run of greens last night and this morning.

@Barb - the house was shaking when the roofers were pounding on things and when they would drop the big packs of shingles. You are so right, we all want some quiet!

@Ella - YES, thank goodness, it's all finished, they left early afternoon. Woo hoo!

@Desi - Hi Tawny, thanks for making me feel better. I was feeling like a 'fraidy cat. :oops: - Zener

We got a little rain shower late this afternoon and things cooled off nicely. The hummingbirds are staging their version of a WWI dogfight with swooping and diving all over the place. Zener is making some serious rounds of his backyard tonight, some new and strange smells from all the roofing stuff. Poo patrol was off duty this morning, but watching carefully for some evening action.

Hope everyone has a calm, quiet and drama-free Fursday evening.

Aww...what a cute pic of Zener having his picnic. Glad the roofers are gone and Zener and Tillie have their space back to themselves. Mags isn't doing too good with the poo patrol. :lol:

ETA: Anne, how much Miralax do you use on Zener?

Great pic of Zener having dinner outside. Did he jump up there by himself? It's probably the only table he is allowed to get onto. Neko got her +3 breffies outside today too (at +4, she was too busy enjoying the yard). I love watching the rufous hummingbirds and their aerial dogfights. They are great entertainment for the cats (and beans).

The picture of Zener on his picnic table may be a little deceiving, it's a kid's size picnic table so he's not really the size of a panther! :lol:

@Ann & Maggie - saw your ETA and will respond in your condo too. We give Zener 1/16 or less of a teaspoon of Miralax once a day. When he was having constipation and motility issues we started off at 1/8 of a teaspoon twice a day, it was too much and he would have really soft or pudding poo. Then we went down to 1/16t twice a day and now to only once a day. It's been a little bit of trial and error to find a maintenance dose for him.

@Wendy - yes, he jumped on his table all by himself! :-D We bought this table for him a few years ago when our AC said Zener would like more things in his yard to get under or up on. He hasn't been able to jump up on his table since his FD diagnosis. We have a low cut coffee table and Liz's childhood table under our front windows and he can get up on those using a system of foot stools. Because of his CH, he can't really climb or jump, but he manages to figure out a way to do things! Hi Neko - you got a picnic today too? That's great, fuds taste so much better outside! - Zener

@julie - awww, best thing in LL today - that's so sweet and he is a very sweet boy. We were so tickled to see him up there, we ran out and took several pictures. :razz:

@Melissa & Mr T - he loves his table! We are all really glad the roof work is over!

Looks like we may be having a Fursday night PJ party, didn't we just do this last night? :roll: @-) ~O)

Rufus are much better than roofers, glad things are back to normal.

It wouldn't be the first time that the more talented rider had to act as domestique. On the other hand he has never made it through a grand tour before. :? Froome has been inpressive though. And 3 stages for the French/ That is a real turn around!

Such a sweet boy on his table!! Moonie also has many places she needs a boost onto because of her neuropathy, but the better the numbers it seems the more agile she is--Hum birds absolutely gorgeous, I would faint to see one of those! We are amateur birders for 30 yrs..Love the Fall here as this is a major migratory area--Hugs & Love from us--Ni Ni!

Zener dude! giving Rupert a run for his money huh? I'm hoping to test Rupie in a few minutes but he's outside chasing moths and staring at bunnies (knows he doesn't stand a chance against the bunnies) and does NOT want to come in for a snack and a test... grrr.

some nice numbers for Zener, even if they were arrived at with a bit of a whoosh!!!! I think the boys are all gonna be playing together tonight!

punkin's having a pj party too! 44 a half hour ago, but he's up to 51 now. the boys love these late nights!

anne i thought of you with the news tonight - everyone's up in arms because the uniforms for the US Olympic teams were made in China. oops. :shock: :lol:

Guess someone looked at the $ bottom line and forgot to look at the politics of "made in the USA", if any clothing/sports uniforms are anymore. :lol: A few years there was a big scandal because the US winter uniform maker was Roots, a Canadian clothing maker. :oops: I will be wearing the games officials uniforms and they are made in Great Britain, the games organizers, so someone did their homework on that front. :lol:

ah ha - i didn't realize Roots was made in canada - so that's why they mentioned that on the news in the report. what a faux pas! glad you're wearing Brit clothes, but wouldn't it have been more politically correct to wear "made in the USA" clothes?

I have the Vancouver 2010 volunteer uniform - you got it, made in China! (for the Hudson's Bay Company, a 500 yr old Canadian company, now majority owned by a US owner).
