7/12 Mikan AMPS 180, +2 123, +7 133, +8 272: PMPS 243, +2 187, +4.5 138

Very nice blue. How nervous were you yesterday at PMPS? :nailbiting:. Very nicely handled.
Another decent drop at +2ish. Have you considered feeding a little higher LC - maybe in the 7%-10% range at +1-+2 to slow her down a bit? Here is a link to using food to manipulate the curve
It helped me with Cleo (who tends to be unpredictable) to flatten her out a bit. To get better duration, I would feed carbs on a downward slope, higher carbs starting right before onset with very low carb to no carb after nadir to keep her coasting. It works except when it doesn't, cats

Hi @Angela & Cleo !
How nervous were you yesterday at PMPS?
I felt okay as the number was practically 100, and Mikan ate LC (FF flake - her recent fav) well with a bit of MC13%. Great idea to use various carb% to manipulate. She loves MC 13% and HC 15% but her interest in LC varies (CATS!) so maybe using a bit of 13% to keep her afloat?

Recently, she went up at +2 or so, then started to come down. But not today. I'll test her soon for +3 and if further dropping, I'll feed her a bit more.

It works except when it doesn't, cats
Hahahahaha. Touche!

Strange rise at +3&5 then coming back down. This happened last night and in this AM cycle.

I am thinking of nominating Mikan as the strangest cat queen, but then, there may be some competitions :smuggrin::smuggrin:

EDIT: +7 must have been a fluke. Back up to 272 at +8:(

No discouragement allowed! You know she does the spikey dance before she does one of her famous cliff dives! Let's see if she gives up some action tonight!! :bighug:

:p Her numbers were all over the place today! She sure loves to do funny wiggly dance!
So far so good at PM+2 but she may still spike up at +3  We'll see!
Hope your work day was, well, at least, decent! :bighug:

I'm thinking that the AM +7 may have been a bad strip :banghead: Without it, the rest of the cycle sort of makes sense.
?!Nice to see a SLOOOW descent at +2. Can't wait for the +3 :bighug:
I totally agree with you @Angela & Cleo. AM+3 must have been a bad strip.
She was 142 at +3 PM, Yes, slow descend!

I know, you taught me not to dwell too much on this - she's got diabetes, but still, mind-boggling!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm thinking that your AM cycle (omitting the +3 and +7 possible bad strips/not enough blood - happens to me too using the FSL ) may have been a bounce from Mikan cruising in greens for about 12 plus hours yesterday! Maybe even longer than that since the last test was pm+5. Now that is HUGE progress :) . Let's celebrate
