He ate a little less breakfast than he has been as well, so may have bigger drops…

I have a question about food quantities. We have pretty consistently been giving, as snacks, 10g, which is a large teaspoon. After Merlin has gotten past his nadir, can we give him more than that in a serving, if it is very lc? He would definitely eat more. He would eat more as he is going down, too, but its always a little scary that he might get too full and need to eat to get out of a too low number.

Yes you can. The only thing it does is perhaps shorten the duration of the insulin in that cycle. If he needs more food you need to feed him sometime. Just don’t feed 2 hours preshot.

Unless he drops into greens today (am or pm cycles) I would increase the dose tomorrow morning to 1 unit.
