Hi everyone!

Congrats to those kitties who just went OTJ and good luck to those who are on a trial, what an exciting time!

Prayers and positive thoughts being sent out to any kitties or beanz that may need them ..

I thought I would start this condo up because I'm asking for good thoughts for my sister. She is going in tomorrow for a hysterectomy and I'm sure any good thoughts are much appreciated! My brother is still recovering from his surgery, it's going slow, but as well as can be expected.

I don't like missing condo's as much as I have been lately and I hate starting loose lips condo's just for good thoughts but I know everyone on this board is so good and thoughtful, and I've seen what good thoughts can do off this board!

So everyone have a great weekend, and please, feel free to change the topic of this loose lips thread too!
 
Dont worry Devon! I am sure your sister will be fine in no time! I had my hysterectomy 12 yrs ago. Look at me, up & running around & taking care of 21 cats! Modern medical is amazing!

Healing vines to your brother & sister! And you got to relax & take care Devon!
 
Hi Devon, you give so much back to us with all your visits and encouragement. This give us a chance to give to you and your sister. Sending lots of healing vines to her for a successful surgery and also healing vines for your brother in recovering from a surgery. Lots of hugs to you, too. Keep us posted. So glad you opened a condo.

I would LOVE to send you a crown for yourself sweetie...because you deserve one...but I know you mentioned one that is for a tooth when you posted in my condo...lol...so yeah, can't help you with THAT!
But you may borrow Raja's crown whenever you'd like...she said that for YOU, she wouldn't mind sharing!

Speaking of Raja...LOL....My new vet suggested Clindamycin for Raja's red gums....she took it once a day for uh...I dunno...5 or 6 days...and the vet said that this is good for gum issues to do once or twice a year...was thinking that something like that might tide Mocha over until you can get her a full dental. It seems to have helped Raja's numbers so maybe it helped with the inflammation.
 
Many good thoughts being sent all the way from Africa, too, with extra sunshine in them. I hope your brother and sister stay safe and both recover well, and that they know how wonderful you are to ask for support for them even here.

Thanks everyone, for the well wishes! She's been having some problems now for a few years so hopefully this will get her back to 100%!

Pat, thanks so much for the crown, tell raja I will cherish it :-D I should look into that med for mocha's teeth .. I wonder if I have her vet do hers and mine if we'll get a discount :lol:

And while we are at it, can we please send some hugs to Dian? She will be having one heck of a weekend this week. Mr Beasley was dx'd with FIP and she will be helping him cross the bridge on Sunday. Need some prayers for his buddy Twinkie too....those two are so connected and he's really going to have a hard time adjusting.

GOOD NEWS ALERT!!!!!

Just heard from Dian...Mr. B is doing really good today and is responding well to the pred. Venita is going to do some more research so Mr. B IS NOT going to be PTS on Sunday at this moment!!!! Oh Yippeee!!!!!! It may have to come to that eventually, but not at this time! Can I get an AMEN!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Devon, I didn't get to read condos last night and am just seeing this condo today. I am sending tons of healing vines for a very successful surgery for your sister. I'll be looking for a great report later on today. Big hugs to you and your dear sister (and of course to Peter and Mocha Jo Latte!).
 
Hi Guys! It is great news about Mr. B, isn't it. However, he is not out of the woods just yet. Dian thinks the pred is what is making him feel better, but there is definately something going on. I know that she is going to be making an appointment to get him an ultrasound and get the fluids out of his belly. She is still worried that it may be that nasty "c" word. We are going to go see a friend on Sunday who does readings so Dian can get a feel for what Mr. B is feeling and thinking So, continued prayers are needed for Dian to help her through this and for Mr. B.....his lease on life has been extended but we need some good vines for him too!
Thanks for all the prayers and good vines you have sent....they worked!

OMG, I just burst into tears at this... now I can't see to type. ♥♥♥

...ok, found a tissue. Before I lost it... I meant to tell Devon that I'm sending good vines to her sister and brother. ohmygod_smile
 
I'm so happy to hear about mr beasley and that the meds are making him feel better .. I hope the U/S and fluid withdrawal go ok .. Positive thoughts being sent for them on Sunday ..

I'm home for a quick bit from the hospital .. my sister's surgery was schedule early this morning .. we were all waiting in the waiting room and received a phone call that her surgery has been postponed for several more hours as her Dr. had to go deliver a baby! :o

She won't be going in until later this afternoon so I thought it would be a good time to run home and feed the kitties, you know, to show them that once again they won't famish :lol:
