I set the alarm to give a +9 snack. Put out food, tried to find Cleo, but I think since it was out of her "norm," she was too nervous to come out to me. She was just too suspicious. I think the civvies ate it all, since they are not as hungry this am. I wil try again tonight. I won't make a fuss, just put it down in the room she is sleeping in. Hopefully that will work.

I don't understand why a fasting BG is higher than a fed one? Is that normal for a diabetic kitty? I am missing :mrgreen: , but CLEO doesn't seem any different.

Cleo has 4 P's in place today. :-D Good appy, she is a hungry girl, and I am feeding her small bits every 20 minutes, so it stays down. I will do an out the door test, hoping her numbers come down.

OT - My computer did a windows update last night, shut itself off,and then wouldn't start! (I hate updates!) I thought I was heading to Office Depot on my way home from work. This morning it did one of the safety startups, and blah, blah, blah, and now it is running. I really have to back up all the pictures on this computer, so I won't worry if it goes. It is about 6 years old, missing a few keys from kitties picking them off, and is slow. I wouldn't mind a new one ;-)

Sending healing/appy/poopy/calming vines to all in need. Hoping to read a few condos from last night, since I was OTC (off the computer) :lol: :lol:

I hope Cleo comes down and gives you some pretty greens. I'm glad your computer is working now. A backup sounds like a good idea.

I will not be able to go home at lunch today. I did leave two meatsicles out for her. Just wondering if there is a certain number that determines if I give her some insulin at her PMBG?

There's really not a certain number (unless Cleo is sky high). It's more an issue of whether there's a trend upward. I wouldn't worry about couple of numbers over 120. There are any number of reasons for a couple of higher numbers.

Hi Jane. As usual, Cleo's looking lovely today, but I know you'd like her numbers to be a bit lower. Hope she comes down for you. And thank you for remind me to backup my laptop onto my external hard drive. I'd hate to lose all my Shasta pics and videos. nailbite_smile Hope you and Cleo have a great Friday!
