Ah, the roofers are here and the noise is pretty impressive. Fortunately Liz could get Zener tested, fed and shot an hour before they arrived. Zener is hiding under the bed but we have managed to test a couple of times to be sure he isn't dropping like a rock, since he is far too nervous to eat well. Tillie, our civvie, is being very brave and not hiding though making herself invisible by sitting in her crouch position. ;-)

@julie - ah, so the invisibility creating crouch position works for hunting too? Maybe Zener will read that in his condo. ;-) He had a great day yesterday and started up on the trampoline mid-cycle last night. We expect he will stay up and not slide today because of the racket.

Zener's numbers are high as expected, and it looks like a combination of bounce and roofer stress. Good news, it looks like they will finish tomorrow, so only two days in all. :-D

Poor Zener. We all hate roofing noises here too. We have neighbours doing something that involves a lot of hammering and a sound like a very loud leaf blower but only first thing in the morning :evil: Good to hear that it'll be done quicker and that Zener is showing some nice safe numbers so you don't have to haul him out from his hidey hole.

@Wendy - ugh on loud morning noises! Zener did not like the noise but he did okay. We did not have to haul him out of his safe place!

@Ann & Tess - you are so right, it will be over soon! And pinks and yellows wasn't bad at all for the noise and commotion!

The big guy stayed in his hidey hole under the bed in my office until the roofers left mid-afternoon. Despite all the racket he ate pretty darn good and his numbers were high, so if he was too nervous to eat, it would have been okay. And he's on the slide into PMPS! Not too bad. Those loud roofers will be back tomorrow to put the shingles on, and should be done by mid-day, so not as long as today. :smile:

I'm glad Zener and Tillie held their own against the roofers today. More than half way through - yay! And, what a lovely start to the evening. Have a great one!

Looks like we'll be getting more tests tonight, could see some action jackson with that drop at +1. But then again... maybe not. Zener loves to do the unexpected. :twisted:

Nice #s there Zener! Hopefully you'll all have some peace & quiet tonight while you're staying up testing all night & be ready for the roofers tomorrow. Maybe you'll be so tired from the all night testing that you'll all be able to sleep thru all the noise of the day!

Not surprising the big guy wants a PJ party tonight. The roofers will be here at 7am. Who needs sleep? Zener's not gonna let any old roofer guys mess with his numbers! :twisted:

Mighty impressive numbers tonight for the Z man! Sorry about the roofers, but glad they are almost finished. It must be pretty hot working on a roof in your climate!

@Ella - we've been so busy the past few days we haven't been able to visit many condos. Thanks for stopping by to encourage our big guy! He is weathering the roofer storm better than we could have imagined. Fortunately for roofers in Flagstaff at 7000 feet, it's only in the mid 80s, though that's plenty hot enough up on a roof.

Wow...great job controlling that drop...now a nice glide down I hope.
