Yesterday:
Started the AMPS in blue followed by green for the cycle. Another blue at PMPS slowly raised to a yellow 211 at +6
Today:
A very hot day, low pressure, maybe rain during the day? All is well in Tortieland. Fed most of them hairball remedy since this is the season when they shed a lot. Rosy was spared because of the caramel in it. I was thinking if the hairball remedy canbe used as a HC since it's filled with caramel & Rosy loves it! ;-)
AMPS 383 gave canned breakfast & 0.85u
This is the 4th cycle on the reducie to 0.85. First time that I see a purple with this dose. Can be a bounce or can be the girl is not holding... nailbite_smile

I agree! Time to get back to those blues and greens that are so pretty. Interesting thought on using the hairball treatment as HC. Tillie our civie loves it and she has that thick Manx coat so she really needs it. Have a good day, Helen!

The furball remedy isn't HC but MAY act like syrup - not as long lasting in raising the BG as HC BUT most of the furball remedies are designed to pass straight through - for obvious reasons :lol: I use 'Cat-Lax' (which also contains caramel and may be what you have) for Vyktor occasionally and I never saw an effect on his BG (and you know I was a testing maniac so I would have noticed!). I would not try it for rasising the BG, best to stick to the HC when you need it as you know that works :smile:

Thanks Serryn for the info. So the hairball remedy despite having caramel inside canbe fed to our DM kitty?

PM+4 306 this is half an hr after steamed chicken. I dont think the chicken has raised Rosy's bg. Somehow, she turned around & hit purple. ohmygod_smile
 
I think Rupert is possibly being a bad influence on Rosy today, perhaps we should restrict their playdates unless they are under strict supervision?!!!!
 
Hi guys .. ok rosy .. not sure what's going on with these pinks but I think you should ditch this color and get back into some greens! Sorry to hear you guys are still dealing with the heat .. it finally broke here over the weekend, but it's creeping its way back up before the end of the week .. :sad:
