hi all,
it is the strangest thing...i posted yesterday about Rocket's skin back to normal....i'm still puzzled...i'm not complaining....the vet had said that based on the huge area it would take roughly 1-2 weeks to clear and as with any 'bruising' (as she still didn't know for sure what it was) that the colour would change and eventually go back to normal....from red to purple to normal....but that's not the case with Rocket (as always he NEVER follows the norm)....i checked again today making sure i did not dream it all....and seems to be ok....

will check again when i get home from work....

AMPS 220 not bad considering he had some ice cream last night as a treat...

DH can't go check on him today...so i will see how much he ate thru the day when i get back....he ate a good snack at +1.5 which is when i leave and he gets the pred and bupe....

i still haven't heard from the vet regarding the follow up on the x-rays.....

will check condos when i get home....back to work i go :cry:

Nice numbers, especially with the ice cream Yummy! That is so great about Rocket's skin!

I had ice cream too last nite, but I dont share mine :lol:

when i got home from work both dishes i left with food were EMPTY.....no idea when he ate all the food but it was gone.....i gave him some right away and he nibbled away....then at +11 he got some more ice cream....just a little bit....as a reward for eating his food while i was at work...and i told him that...

vet called me to say she is still waiting on the hospital to send her a CD with the images from Rocket's xrays done in Feb....and she asked how he was doing...when i told her about his skin....she laughed and said "well I guess Rocket wants to make sure you are still paying attention to him now that you are back to work"......

so the waiting continues.....
 
Your updates are making my heart overflow! I love it. Awesome to get a comment like that from your vet huh. If he/she hadn't seen it, they wouldn't have an idea how amazing Rocket is. He deserves ice cream and so do you :mrgreen:
