Re: 7/11 mocha amps 103

Nice bit of surfing from last night into this morning!

It sounds like Peter created a bit of excitement yesterday with his blood draw. A fair number of people do get lightheaded or have a vasovagal response to a blood draw or seeing needles and/or blood. It's a matter of blood pressure dropping. There are ways to counteract it using muscle tension.

Great surf, Mocha! Can you teach me how to surf like that?? You're gonna do it again today, right?! :-D

Mocha is looking so great!! so happy to see these beautiful numbers!
poor Peter....has he never given blood previously? Not sure if they offered him anything to drink while they were drawing blood...but usually something is given. I hope he will be okay next time. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluid today...but Iguess they told him that already right? It is very important to keep hydrated before, during and after...
Hope he is okay now....

still in the blue so that is a good thing ... and yes, peter is doing fine now .. they had him squeezing a rubber ball during the blood draw, and he was slowing down and that is when the nurse asked if he felt ok and he said he was light headed and by the time she called for help and the nurse came out, he was pretty much passed out. They did give him apple juice and water after he woke up. This was the first time peter has ever passed out, and all the times I have passed out, I have always tried to explain it to him, how it felt and how it felt "coming too" which he never really understood until yesterday. Now however, he is playing it up .. he can't do this and he can't do that because he passed out yesterday  I told him of all the times I have passed out, it has never stopped me from continuing on with my daily activities. He told me to give him a few more weeks and he will pass up my passing out record

Nice greens last night for Mocha. Did she cuddle up w/ peter when he got home to make him feel better? Pamper him today, tomorrow it's back to normal. :-D
