Good Monday morning LL!!! Sending extra healing vines to Rocket today.
It's a
loaded day for me. Gracie had a beautiful cycle last night although I had to give her more carbs than I would have liked. I really thought I had overdone it and she was headed up at 98 but knowing how our girl likes turnarounds, I thought I better stay vigilant. I had to give her just a bit of food at +9 because she typically gets a second dip late in her cycle and leaves me shooting a 50 again and then scrambling to get her up before onset. I hope one of these days she'll turn out "normal" cycles and I won't have to worry about shooting a 50....she'll just stay flat instead of deciding to drop to 38 at +1. :lol: :lol: Which she has done in the past. She's tired, I'm tired but we made it through the first night of Mike being gone. I had my pillow next to Mike's and she spread herself across them so she was easy to test. However, I felt so rotten about it....she would just purr up a storm while I was warming her ear and look at me with those sweet lovng eyes.
I'm working from here Mon, Tues, Wed this week while Mike is gone. I'm off on Thurs so we can have some time together. It's our "second" anniversary....we got married twice in one year...in May, you may recall, and then on July 14. He was a smart man...he picked Cinco de Mayo for the first one and Bastille Day for the second. Long story on how all that came about but the first one was the "legal" one we did quietly in Anchorage. and the second one was for all the family, etc and was the big wedding. Electricians here this morning; carpet cleaner dude tomorrow. Does it ever slow down? :lol: :lol:
