7/11 Claudio AMPS 223 PMPS 246

Do you think he's starting to feel the sting of Lantus? When cats get to higher doses of Lantus, the acid base can sting. It's often the reason cats on higher doses get switched to Levemir. Neko used to sometimes walk away while I was shooting Lantus, but purred through Levemir.

Ya know, that thought did cross my mind.
But switching to Levemir won't happen anytime soon.
I had a hard enough time getting the vet to write another script for Lantus without having to bring him him for a fructosamine test. Plus he said I was giving him too much insulin and testing too much.
He said that Claudio should stay in the AAHA guidelines of approx 250 for a bg for a feline.
