I usually jot down Buster's numbers for the last cycle and scoot off to work, but I forgot today. I think he was at 114 this morning or somewhere thereabouts. I am going to sneak out soon for a +3 test and then I'll get the ss properly updated.

Hooray for rain! It's only supposed to be 100 today - what a nice relief

Hi guys .. looking good this morning buster boy! Those temps would do me in, that's for sure! Have a great day and stay cool!

Re: 7/11 Buster AMPS 119, +5 251 - clicky paw?

I have been noticing for some time now that Buster clicks when he walks. Like you know how you can kinda roll your wrists and sometimes it makes a lil crackly pop sort of sound? It's like that. His right front paw seems weird. His wrist kinda buckles when he puts weight on it. He doesn't act like he's in pain and I saw him run across the yard today - not full speed, but he certainly didn't seem impeded in any way. He's not licking it. Toes/claws check out ok. Doesn't seem particularly bothered when I futz with it. Anyone experienced something similar?

Getting paid in a few days and I was thinking of doing a dental. Vet said nothing was abscessed, but his teeth were pretty nasty. Maybe I should have them x-ray his foot while he's out?

Hi Tara - I don't have an experience with clicking paws (now, my body is a different story - everything creaks or clicks when I move). However, I don't think an xray is too pricey and it never hurts to be pro-active. What normally happens in my situation is I'll wait it out and then when I have the least amount of money in my bank account, the problem gets worse. Good luck - hope it turns out to be no big deal!

That's weird. I think I would at least have the vet look at it just to be on the safe side.

It is weird. I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to get a good video of it, but it just doesn't really show up very well. Plus, he usually just trots over to me and gives a head butt  I am more worried there's something wonky that could turn arthritic later on.

Bounce or NDW, Buster gave me a pass to go out for a Messican dinner - nummeh! Hope he keeps coming down tonight. Calling the vet tomorrow. I'm thinking maybe take him in for an x-ray and then if for some reason there's something operable, we can do that and a dental all at once.

Hi Tara,

Buster is a beautiful kitty. I love tabbies. I just came to visit because I don't think I have before.

Angie's paw does the roll over thing sometimes - I just noticed it recently - but it doesn't click. I thought it might just be something to do with her arthritis. It doesn't seem to be hurting her particularly either. I'd be interested to know if you find out anything. I hope he's ok.
