REALLY? big fat black number. Dammit. and just when I thought we were making progress. So disheartened this morning.

Rupie seems okay, he's a little lethargic, on the couch this morning instead of on the deck. Ate all his breakfast though and seems fine. Last night he really didn't want to eat as much. Normally he'll eat everytime I put food in front of him, but last night he wasn't overly enthusiastic (he did eat but not with the usual excitement)... and he's been getting harder to ear poke the past few days.

oh well. at least I know where the bounce came from, was just thinking his liver was beginning to give up on this silliness but obviously not.
feel like we are back to square one again. sigh. Here's hoping he clears this bounce soon and not too dramatically.

hm, so +2 and into the high pink..... looks like he's trying to clear the bounce.

just went to test him and noticed, for the first time in a very very long time, his right eye is doing the 'red goo weeping' thing...???? interesting. he used to get that when he was throwing those high numbers regularly and before he had his tooth pulled. Also before I started him on lysine. He hasn't had any lysine for a little while, guess I'll grab some from the 'tub' in the barn (I had some in bulk for Rojo for his hives when he first arrived).

not sure what the connection is.....whether the red goo indicates something else that's bugging rupie that would make his numbers shoot up (although the rapid dip to 2.9 yesterday evening is a fairly obvious culprit)... or if it's something that happens WHEN his BG levels are high.. maybe blood pressure related? (no clue of high BG equates to higher BP as well??). who knows. Anyway, slightly happier to see bounce clearing, maybe it might be his one last hurrah and a super trampoline act? maybe he missed being up there and thought he'd give it a try.. and found out he didn't like it anymore? Maybe I can teach him to be afraid of heights??

Ouch! Sometimes it just happens, but you know he will come right back down. You are probably right about the bounce, I've started to look at it as a break to get things don, or as michelle calls it "a permission slip." :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Time to come back down now Rupert, but a little slower would make your bean feel so much better. bcatrun_gif

Neko is following where Rupert went both last night and this morning, just delayed a couple of hours. At least Rupert seems to be clearing the bounce fairly quickly and you won't have to worry about him today. He still seems to need a few remedial lessons on that diving concept. :lol:

well. nice, somewhat rapid, return to the blues. Yay Rupert, but really.. do you have to do it in such a dramatic way. Now I'm wondering if that AMPS reading was a meter anomaly? who knows. Just hoping that the trip from +2 to +6 was reasonably slow (about 65 pts an hour is not too bad for him I guess!!! given that 100pts per hour seems to be his cruising speed!). I have hair appt. this evening so hubby will be giving him his shot and keeping an eye on him. I'll be home for +3, hoping nothing too exciting happens in between! good grief. never a dull moment here!

Hi Pip. It's nice to see Rupert come down to blue, but holy cow, I hope that fast drop doesn't shoot him backup again.
He sure does like to grab your attention.
I was wondering also, if the first number was meter trouble. Too much blood, too little blood.... you hiccuped? *grin*
