What a nice recovery yesterday for Mannie. We started out pink and yellow, spent the AM cycle in that mode, started out the PM cycle much the same as the AM one. He did turn that around, and by +4 we were green. It was a little fast, resulting in another bounce this morning to the pinks. I hope he can clear this one was well as he did yesterdays. All is well in MannieLand. My DD, DSIL, and DGS spent most of the day here yesterday - YAY! :-D :-D Mannie handled that well, camped out with us, and DGS most of the day :razz: . It was good to see him in the thick of things. We worked a little on teaching DGS the art of petting :cool: , and not fur pulling :shock: Made a little progress in that area - Mannie was more than glad. This morning we had a great test feed and shoot, all accompanied with lots of purrs. One happy kitty. No civvie whacking today, no kitty choir to wake me up - just a slow mellow laid back day. Nanner napping is now in progress. Mannie had to corral them this morning, as they were a little scattered :shock: hmmmmmm.... somebody messin' with the stash? :o :shock: All has been fixed, ownership re-established. Too funny....

Have a great day everyone! I had hoped to hike today... not going to happen, bummer. I need to find get my phone into the phone store: dang thing is stuck in the power up mode, and will not clear. carp! so sad when you have to give up a hike day because your phone is ka-put! anyways... hey: bought a new PC yesterday (YAY!!) I debated between Mac and PC, ended up with another PC, if only because I need a 'puter savvy person to assist when I am stoopid, and my DSIL knows them well... so.... PC. What a good guy - walked me through the order, fine tuned the specs, what a great help he was! I am excited - finally a really good one is on order.

Morning Michelle, wow, you had another pj party last night! I hope Mannie clears the bounce soon! Great for the new pc? Is it a laptop? What kind of software do the new computers have pre installed? That's cool about teaching DGS the petting and scritches with Mannie. Before you know it, Mannie will be asking for some gentle petting from DGS. I think it's a natural instinct for the little ones to go for the fur. That's a bummer with the phone and not to get a hike in, maybe a walk along the shoreline. Hope you get your phone fixed.

Hey Mannie, Camp Stu sure was a bust with the swim meet and cookout. It would be great to have another get together there today. Let's gather up the troops; I think they must be sleeping in as it's Sunday. See ya soon, Maggie

The swim meet is ggoing into the real competition today. The kitties all decided to stay overnight so as to get ready.

Yo Mannie. Great fun last night with the preliminary trials. Today we have the main events. Thanks for volunteering to lifeguard after you swim the butterfly. Tobey is going to lifeguard too after he swims the freestyle. Maybe BigMac will volunteer after he swims the backstroke. So much food leftover that we can have another picnic. But no crabtinis until after the swims!!

Happy to hear all is well in Mannie Nanner land!! So sorry to hear about the stooopid phone being stuck, that's never a good sign.. Maybe a hike after the phone gets fixed? That would be ideal huh!
Oooooooooh! New PC :-D , I love electronics!! What kind did you get if I may ask?
I'm glad to hear that some progress was made in the correct way to love on a kitty :lol:

Mannie! So glad you all had a great swim meet, who knew kitties could swim like that? Now how about wearing some green speedo's instead of those pink and yellow ones!

Pooey on the phone situation *2 thumbs down* But hooray for the new PC, i love new gadgets too.

290 at +6... ****sigh**** what a perfect hiking day this could have been - green light from the manster, green light from the trails, green light from the weather. STOP AND PROCEED NO FURTHER from my stoopid stoopid phone....as I will not venture out into the wilderness without some sort of communication system in the even things go awry, as I hike alone... oh well... off to the phone store in a few.... the trails can wait.... :-D

Hi Ann and Miss Maggie - that we did... it was a long night.... but he did well, too bad be bounced this morning. Perhaps he will clear it soon like he did yesterday. on the new PC - I went with a desktop. I also have a small netbook that I use for "mobile"stuff. the PC stays in it's spot, therefore desktop... i like' em... silly me. For this model: it comes with Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint), Roxio CD Creator, Quicken Home and Office, PhotoShop, and should run exceptionally well as it is a quad core, mega ram yada yada yada.... I has to be better than my ancient 512mb pentium 4 dinosaur.... and yep on teaching DGS petting - :lol: :lol: this may take a while....and YES on the shore: I was disappointed in the no hike, but the shore here is nice, I can get a great distance in, and it is my backup. It was great there this morning...

Hi Ella - I am sure it will. I only wish he'd come down slower yesterday - I think maybe then he wouldn't have bounced so. who knows... yeah - a tad bit bummed on the phone - it's only 5 months old... oh well, we shall see what verizon has to say about it all in a few... and YES on the 'puter!! I am very excited to have one that will really run well. Am very grateful to my DSIL who really helped me with the specs etc... Nice on the overnighter for the kitties.... that would explain Mannie's absence today.... :lol: :lol:

Hi Lauren - yep on the stoopid phone.... aiyee!! I did a shore walk/hike this morning, so all is OK there. maybe a hike tomorrow. :cool: On the PC - went with a Dell XPS 8300, quad core, 12GB ram, widescreen HD LED Monitor.... Dell made me a deal I couldn't refuse + the soft ware I know I wanted was cheaper than the discount places that specializes in software... so: sign me up! My DSIL is a wizz with these tings, so therefore went PC vs MAC. -- and yes: we are working on the correct way to love a kitty.... gonna take some time! :lol:

Rusty!! i am soooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous! the butterfly!! that is SO HARD! The kitties worked so hard in prelims yesterday - BigMac showed!! and finals in the backstroke - AWESOME.. I am so proud of Maggie - she made breaststroke!! and the relays - a 4 way tie!! I am so happy to be a lifeguard - it is just so cool to see all the kitties there all racing and all having fun. everybody got ribbons and everything!! more fun coming - YAY!!! ~~ Mannie

Mannie, what are you doing way up there? I hope he comes down soon, Michelle. Hey, your desktop sounds great, and it came with a lot of software. I would give anything to have Microsoft word back. this laptop came only with Windows Vista. I can always buy MW though and install. It sounds like you had a nice day with the shoreline walk and getting your phone fixed.

Hey Mannie, thanks for organizing the Camp Stu swim meet. Yes, I won in the breaststroke finals, yay! We will have to do it again, maybe tomorrow, or we will see where the spirit leads us. Don't forget to check out my pics in my condo. Aunt Karrie helped my Bean post them. She's very smart, Aunt Karrie, that is, not my Bean, he, he! Maggie

Hi Ann - me too! I don't do pinks well... I hope so on the software - it cost me a few dollars to have it installed, but was way cheaper to do it that way than install on my own. I know on MWord - I prefer it. I had Word Perfect a while ago - just hated that one.... anyways - -- yes on the shoreline!! It is so great to have one close to home, and it was a low tide today too! on the phone: :lol: :lol: :lol: I feel SO STUPID! all the guy did was remove and fiddle with the battery, reinstall that and we are good to go... sheshhhh - it I had known that was all it was... :oops: :oops: :oops: It was akin to rebooting a PC when it freezes.. oh what a dummie I can be... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Maggie - you gots pics in your condo?????? OH BOY!!! I wanna see, and my bean does too.... SWEET! Auntie Karrie is so nice to help your bean... Hi Michelle: sorry I haven't visited your condo (or any) today. I was hoping Mannie would clear his bounce...looks like he gave you the chance to get out and about today and get in your shoreline walk. And get your phone "fixed". Maybe tonight he will do something magical!!!

Hi Marje - well... looks like we are yellow, and will stay there. oh well, it's OK. I suspect he'll stay there through the night - might be a good thing, maybe, as then Hiking tomorrow! paws crossed, on the hiking part.... and no problem on the condo visit. I haven't been able to either. sons came by today, so no time for any of this...
 
Maybe tomorrow for Mannie. Glad you got to visit with your sons!! I'm sure you are tired. HOpe your computer is all set up now.

Mannie....I need you and Tess at the green lagoon with me!!
