7/10 Jack214@AMPS -dose increase tomorrow?

So, Jack hasn't seen any 100's in over 24 hours now. Very depressing. Do you think I should increase to 8units tomorrow or try to do 7.75 units? He was uncooperative for the ketone test today, and I'm being stingy with the strips, so I'll test again tomorrow. He seems to be acting ok, maybe even a little more feisty and uncooperative when it comes to testing. Also, no word from vet clinic on the blood tests; another call to badger them tomorrow. We appreciate any advice on dose increase for tomorrow.

I would go to 8.0 units next. At this point in Jack's journey (between 5 and 10 units total dose) and not seeing anything under 100, 0.5 unit increases are appropriate. Something, TBD what, is causing insulin resistance in Jack. You can't be subtle in fighting insulin resistance. Good luck with the new dose, here's hoping it moves those blue numbers down some more.
