Good Caturday LL ~O) ~O)

Well I certainly wasn't expecting this ohmygod_smile what the ?!@? I wasn't home yesterday much and I know she hit some blues as she was at +2 205
then I had to go. Her evening BG's were lo 220's, so I'm not sure why so high this am.

I was awakened with her flying off the bed and trying to get a bird ohmygod_smile Seriously, I'm going to have to move the bird food! All this activity
was at her BG test of course. Would her adrenaline rush make her go that high? And she had not eaten from +7 til this am. I just felt like she was on a slow
ride down and then this whacked number...this is when I get frustrated :YMSIGH:

Doodles report: slept in till she couldn't stand it anymore and flew out the door to catch a dove! It now is time for her morning routine, after the bird she
raced me down the stairs bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif and was ready to eat. Didn't want the ear poked and that was a challenge and she wasn't happy about
the shot this morning, is anxious to get back outside :lol:
Her brother did a good job of trying to wake us all up at 0:dark:thirty by jumping over everyone's heads and pouncing all over the bed, he weighs 23 lbs!
That didn't work :lol:
Lets hope Doodles is not going to do some cliff diving this morning ohmygod_smile but she needs to come on down!

I hear ya on the pink. Mocha is right there too. Can't say if the excitement got to doodles or not at test time with certainty but I would guess not that much, if any at all ... I hope our kitties come down today!

I wonder if your Lantus is finally pooping out. I think you've been using the same pen for a while. It might be worth thinking about changing to a new pen. I hope Doodles comes down today.

I'm really hoping the lantus is still good ohmygod_smile I use a vile, I've never tried the pens...another thing
to learn how to use :YMSIGH: but if it last longer than the vile, I'm taking that route.
I certainly am set up now with strips :lol: 450!!!! thank you ebay.
The best news is my buddy has 3 boxes of 50 strips each that he's going to give me for free :-D :-D I hope Doodles isn't LOMS :lol:

My DH is so funny, he's all "it doesn't matter if her number is 371 or 100 her mood is the sameto me" :lol: Because I get so damn frustrated with those flippin numbers,
this is how Lantus I've become now, every number I see, I'm oh...that's a good number, oooo, that's not a good one :lol: I am so thankful she has been a different girl on Lantus :smile:

Doodles is heading in the right directions. I use the 5 pack cartridge and just insert the needle into the rubber stopper of those. It's more economical than the vials.

Doodles is heading in the right direction! :mrgreen: And it certainly sounds like she's feeling great!

We use the pens, but we go through a pen about every 3 weeks. Logan's internist uses the vials in her office and she said they last quite a while. She said they don't seem to poop out in 28 days like the label suggests. I think we paid around $190 for a 5 pack of pens.

I heard this crazy meow again, called to her to come up stairs no go...walked to the top of the stairs, she was at the bottom
looking at the bird she just caught :shock: so, I head to the bottom of the stairs, go to pick up the little bird, I see it's still breathing :smile:
go to pick her up to check her and she flew out of my hands to the other clean window ohmygod_smile I go through the same routine, get out
the palm tree trimmer (cuz it reaches the high windows) and the bird won't leave, then it flies to another window....really?!@?!
Finally bump her and she flies up the stairs and out the bedroom door :-D :-D whoo hoo! You should have seen Doodles fly bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif

Are you sure yellow isn't the new "Green" :lol: :lol:

my! Mannie would love all the birds there. Kitty nirvana!

I use the pen too - so much more economics - the initial outlay is $$ - think I paid about $200.00 too for 5 - but last so much longer. I used to use the vial - but ended throwing out so much of it, as it does crap out after a while. I never could get much more than a couple of months out of it. cartridges - good to go, no waste, no bad stuff, worth the switch.

Keep the nice yellow surf going Doodles. It's a good sign of things to come.

When I was a student I spent a semester in Denmark. The cat (Mis) would catch a bird and leave it in the kitchen for Birgetta. She's take a look, close the kitchen door and hope it would disappear. It usually would, only to be replaced w/ a mouse! :lol:
 
Unfortunately, yellow isn't the new green! I think the only way Doodles is going to see the real green is with a dosecrease. How about increasing her dose to 1.25u tonight?

Also, could you please remember to link your previous day's condo to your first post of the day. I believe that Libby mentioned increasing your dose yesterday but I didn't have a chance to dig through the Board to find your condo from yesterday.
