Checkers stayed yellow today. He surfed 255-228.

He came out for a long time, but stayed in the cube, letting the girls pet him through the holes.
I'm heading out to clinic for bupe. I have one dose left, but luckily didn't need it today.
He out walking around with a stuffie mouse in his mouth, talking loudly to himself. I looove when he does that.
No time to update SS til tonight.

I'm glad that checkers is felling like moving around. Are you still taking him in for accupuncture?

No acupuncture Ann. The second one hurt him, so didn't want to do any more.

My Levimer pen was started on July 1. The orange stopper (?) inside is not moving down, as the pressure should be making it do.
I'm sure it was, until today. It seems stuck in the cartridge, closest to the cap.
I'm now wondering if the insulin is no good. It's never been mishandled, or dropped.

I looked at the old one, that I still have, and the rubber stopper is stopped right in the middle from where I used it, as it should be.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a sign that it's bad?

I'm not sure, From day to day, I usually can't see a difference, and Checkers is on a very small dose too. I'd mark where it is w/ some tape and see if it has changed in a few days. I don't think it should be effecting the insulin, maybe just make it harder to draw the dose if it is stuck?

If it really is stuck I'd contact the company about a replacement.

I just this minute thought the same thing. It's only 10 days old, I probably haven't used enough to make it move.
I better get that question off subject line before I look any sillier :lol:
