Responding to your post from yesterday's condo:
. None of us asked for diabetes for our cats, it's a terrible thing that's happened to them, but just by being here you're doing 1000% for Toeby. There is a slim window of possibility that he could get back into remission, but perhaps a short term goal is to get him to stay below renal threshold while managing his GI symptoms, and you're doing that quite well as he's making some good progress. 
This is the peace I've made with myself for Ruby. Yes, all of this juggling of carb percentages and constant testing is a pain, but I hope for you and for all the rest of us that it will be a temporary situation. Big hugs.

Seriously, that was kind, and appreciated.
I am feeling better about things this morning, I think he is bouncing a bit after last night, but if he is a bit high today I'm almost relieved as I have plans this afternoon and would like to go with a clear conscience.
I'm not really a sniveler.
It's just a lot, and sometimes I wonder if I am doing it for him, or to make myself feel like Ms. super pet owner and all round "good guy", know what I mean?
There's no awards for diabetic pet owner of the year, and I know damn well some people around me question the effort and time.
Any hoo... it will all work out.
But I do appreciate the support, for sure.
