Good Morning, All, and Happy Canada Day to all Canadians,

Stu apparently had a good night last night, playing with his toys. He didn't eat much out of his automat, however. Therefore this morning he was hungry and gobbled his breakfast (1st installment). Litterbox has been contributed to. Yesterday in the afternoon he chucked up two gigantic hairballs: gigantahairballitis indeed!! I'll be out all day today on a bike ride in Vermont. DH will be here and will supervise Stu, Mannie and Spot as they make the cinnamon birthday cake for Tori. Hopefully they won't make a mess! All kitties are invited to Tori's birthday-cake party this afternoon. Pass the word.
All for now. I'll post again in the late afternoon.

Yay! A party! Blue and Kasha are excited about Tori's birthday. Well, Blue is... Kasha's a little self-conscious about her new haircut...

Spot will be leaving the house shortly, Stu! He has his chef's hat and a change of clothes for the party, so I guess he won't be home anytime soon.
Nice to see that Stu is going in the right direction and is feeling good enough to play with his ball. I hope you enjoy your bike ride, Ella. I told Spot that if he makes a mess, he has to help clean it up, so hopefully he will listen!

Hmmm, I see Stu has pulled out the blue aprons already. The boy is ready to party!

Now I know why Tess went so low last night, she wanted to get into her green dress for the party! :lol:

another cake? Tray is drooling at the thought, he said he'll blow up some balloons for the party as he's not much of a baker, despite his mommy being in the food industry.

I LOVE cake...but my humom won't let me have any. Says it isn't good for my sweetness numbers. But I overheard her tell pops that she has to go back out for a few hours, so I plan on sneaking away and coming to the party. Hope that's ok with you. :smile:

Well someone must have told my daughter there's a party!!! She just told me she's hunting this afternoon in her blue cami's :-D these are better for hunting as they blend with the sky :lol:
Gotti is very excited he gets to come too!!! He's checking out the "Crow" DVD's he says he has one the guys will dig :cool: You know guy stuff :cool: no
chick flick stuff for him ;-) His favorite is "Crow Vice" all the bird seed busts, the canine chases! So much action!!!

Hi Everyone, I think Stu might have had a pretty good day with his numbers. DH said they had some quality time outdoors and that when Mannie and Spot came over to bake Tori's birthday cake they worked beautifully together in the kitchen (until Shadow and Raja arrived and Shadow insisted on stirring the cinnamon and it went all over the place: but wonderful Raja was able to get her brother under control!)
Now all the kitties are at Tori's party and reports are that the fireworks are about to begin. Sounds great!

I had a fine bike ride on Grande Isle in Lake Champlain. It was cold and windy with some showers, but very lovely. Lots and lots of sailboats were out on the lake and we could see them from the shore road we were riding on. Tired this evening. Tomorrow we're leading the paddle we've been trying for all week. The windy, rainy weather seems to be over. Hope everyone will have a good evening.

Hi Ella - yellow Stu, pink Mannie: this is becoming a pattern! party reports are awesome indeed - I think the boys have found a new profession: cake baking... what next?!?

Your ride sounds really nice!Too bad on the rain - I had that too on my hike: drizzly light rain, 48 out when I started, and this is summer? :shock: . I hope you are able to get your paddle in tomorrow - darn weather! I thought of you yesterday - I had gone into REI here in Seattle, and ended up in the canoe section. omg - the stuff they had! Nice, very nice!

Hope Stu has a good night, and doesn't stay out too late at the party. :roll:

:lol: Not make a mess with cinnamon...and flour, I assume???? :lol:
I think DH lucked out on the activity for the day - being able to witness that! How fun!
Latte was grateful for the appy stim, so she could feel up to having some of the cake (actually, I think she had more than her share - sorry :roll: ).

Hope you enjoyed your bike ride and Stu keep bringing things back down in a reasonable manner.
