Skooter's Last Condo

I cannot believe I am writing this, but after FIVE DAYS OF NO INSULIN, Skooter is at 77!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you read that correctly....five days with the two dogs, new baby, no insulin for five day sand a new house to readjust to, and he is at a flipping 77!!!! He was roaming around the house the whole time, without a lot of hissing.....this is something he hasn't done since his diagnosis!!!!

So my question is, if he is still green tomorrow, dare I say it? Can I start an OTJ trial?!?!?!?! Also, if I do, do I count the last five days or not?


I can't believe I am asking this!!! Looking forward to some thoughts and ideas.......super happy to be home and snuggled up in my own bed with Skooter....

If he's had no insulin for 5 days and he's green in the morning, YES!! You can certainly start the trial!

Since you don't have any way of knowing what his PS numbers were for the last 5 days, I'd plan on just starting in the morning

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I cannot believe you and Skooter are starting a trial!!! Not that I'm really surprised, but I just am too excited that this day is here.
