Happy Canada Day everyone! Thank goodness Neko isn't wearing her red dress today in celebration. The first year here she gave me matching red preshots. She's come a long way since then - even if her kidney disease is slowly progressing. Yesterday's b/w was a mixed report. Numbers that were out of whack were back in normal, BUN coming down a bit, but creatinine creeping up and that's one I worry about. With the BUN coming down a bit, it looks like the Azodyl may be helping. Neko will be pleased, she likes her full fat yogurt and Azodyl treat.

Another sunny day, though not quite as hot as a couple days ago. Cats in the solarium - seems to be the theme around here. Along with lots of shedding. I got breakout purrs from Neko at breakfast time, so she seems to be a happy camper today. Beans got out on the water so they to are happy. Otherwise a day to hang out on the sofa and relax.

Peg, Carla, Bron, Patricia, Rhiannon, Tricia - Thanks for stopping in on Canada Day. Neko did much the same as any other day. :) Beans went and saw some of the celebrations at the waterfront park. There was live music and a naval ship on view at one of the piers. There were fireworks tonight, and for the first time I remember, Neko practically ignored them. Must be all the construction work out back (thankfully quiet today), that is making her more comfortable with noise. The full moon is now in view through the solarium ceiling.
