Good Morning everyone,

I didn't see the message about getting the +4 last night. The thought crossed my mind too, but I fell asleep, I have to get up pretty early for work and now even earlier to take care of Miss Kitty. I can do it tonight. She is on a new vial of insulin, could that account for the quick drop?

Sometimes it can. As the old vial gets...well old it sort of gets a little wonky. I always try to get extra tests in when I start a new pen for Attie. Sometimes the 'wearing out' of the old insulin is so subtle we don't realize it has gone wonky.

Other times it is indeed the cat.

Good morning guys ... Don't feel bad about falling asleep, it happens to the best of us :-D And yes, sometimes a new vial can cause a quick drop .. but now you know that ... have a great holiday weekend!
 
shot was a little late, about 45 minutes. She had couple bites of food at lunchtime and about a quarter can of food at 4:30p and a little tuna at her BG tests.
