Now that my brain is not so overwhelmed with diabetes, I've been researching and asking around about diabetic cats with hyperthyroidism. I think that's making him more aggressive than he should be and the Tapozole is causing his loss of appetite. No appetite for treats means I get bitten and weight loss.
My vet responded to my email and is concerned about his weight loss and suggested I bring him in for a blood test and urine test. He says he's a fan of radiation but hesitates it for Junior since Junior is so fearful, which I'm reading as aggressive. I'm not sure what he means...if the fear will impact administering the radiation or insulin or if he'll just be stressed out for 2 weeks.
And of course like clockwork, Junior doesn't want to see his vet and started scarfing his fud in record time. Weird cat.
