Woohoo Cobb! What a nice AMPS!

Wendy, we are discussing switching to Lev. It's definitely cheaper at the pharmacy. But it would also give us some room to play with dose-wise, since we'd decrease and then work back up. I always wonder, will one more unit do the trick?

Julie, YES! The 1 year birthday party. I no longer have a baby in the house. We took Matty to meet some family friends this past weekend. They missed the cuddly baby stage, and one of them looked at him and said he's a little boy already!! It's true what they say...it goes by so quickly! That baby phase just flew by, looking back on it. I was told the days and nights are long, but the years are so short. SO TRUE.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! Healing vines to all who need them!

Looking great in Blue this morning Cobb!!

Don't worry about it, Suzanne...the years go by fast at this age, but when they're teenagers, they really start dragging....LOL

He's such a cute little gentleman! You have every right to be a very proud mama...to both Matty and Cobb! You've done an amazing job with both of them!

Hi Suzanne,
When I read how much insulin Cobb is getting in your previous post a month or so ago, I thought: :o !!! EXPENSIVE!
Cobb is a lucky boy to have you as his bean.
Good luck with switching to Lev. if you decide to do it.

Beautiful start for Cobb!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!

Matty is one year old? OMG! I can't believe it.

I def think it would be a good idea to try lev. I love it.

Have a great day!!!

Great cycle for Cobb today! He looks a lot more flat on Lantus than Neko ever did. The biggest issue with switching insulin is learning Cobb's patterns all over again. I felt like such a newbie when we switched.

A toddler in the house.

oh cobb - a whole day under 200! he's looking great, suzanne!

i had a fun visit today with an 18month old little boy. He had a hat - apparently a Very Special Hat! it was so cute - reminded me of the old men in Secondhand Lions - sort of a straw hat with a band around it. I pulled out the old "Little People" toys and we had fun playing on the floor. He like the bbq and a pair of little tongs that went with them, although that might've belonged with a Barbie set. I knew there was a reason i hung on to those toys for the past 18 years!
