Yesterday's Condo

Gabby has been keeping close watch on the hallway. She's been absolutely wonderful with pilling. So far, she's not spit one back at me. She was hungry this morning and treats have resumed their appeal. I'm still waiting to see whether the deposits in the LB have improved.

thats great gabby is a cat you can pill ... I can't imagine trying that with either of our cats! I hope the LB action improves ... and this mid yellow number isn't to bad of a start for a girl who hadn't been feeling well ...

Way to go Gabby! Taking those pills for your mama... Thank goodness that she is not a "lets tuck this away on the inside of my cheek and depose of 5 minutes later when my bean is not looking" like Mannie is... Nice to read that she is better.

I heard somewhere that cats are incapable of spitting. But they can shake the hell out of their head to send the pill flying out of their mouth though! That's Cosmo's preferred M.O. (ugh).

I just got caught up on yesterday's condo. My ears perked up when I saw that she needed another dental. I wonder if that first dental was thorough enough. I'd try a different kitty dentist this time.

The vet just called with the basic blood panel results. Everything looks good -- other than Gabby's BG being elevated (in the pinks) at the vet's office. The GI panel won't be back until tomorrow. Gabby's one ear definitely had yeast and some bacteria growing so, despite the dreaded steroid, the Animax drops should help on that front.

Glad to hear Gabby's bloodwork came back normal today.
Sorry about her ear though. I hope it clears up quickly.
Now she has a valid reason for not to listening to you.
