Morning LL!! It was Roni VS little black ants again today!! Sprayed with Terro(good ant killer spray) all around outside & by Moonie's window, And used stucco patch to close any holes where they are getting in--
They were on the cat napper again this am(YUCK0 )so I killed everyone of them So Moonie could be tested & have her treats--
Then I went to work :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: -Die ants Die!!! Hope this works, I can still step on them in house, BUT DONT GO NEAR MY CATS!!!!!!!!!! angry(2)_cat --
Moonie came down nice today- Guess all that blue was some sort of Moonie rebound?-Looks like I will be spot checking a bit today-- It Doesnt look like she's eating after having a nice breffis, but she isnt so hungry at 61 bg--She is happy, all P's good & will get another test soon --I will only feed her if she goes into the 50's & I dont see her eat--She knows how to self regulate most of the time-- My Eyes on the Moonster @-)

Nice to see the green again today. I hope the ants go away. Me - I like to let the moths in so Josie can have some fun :lol: But do hate to noise they make when she crunches and eats them.

:lol: :lol: :lol: too funny Roni for I have the same ongoing any battle here every year we have a log cabin and jeez the places they come in who knows you know and I try to put those little terro thingies around where the cats are not and sometimes I would swear it makes them multiply rather then kill the nest :roll: I so hate ants we have put those crystal things around the house supposed to help so far has not good luck with your ant battle great numbers for Moonie :mrgreen:

Nice numbers for Moonie today - she's back in good form. I hate those ants too. I've tried some Raid spikes near where Blackie likes to lay and I think it's helping. But it hasn't taken care of the ant hills that are below our patio. I hope you got them all.

Nice Moonie numbers!

We live out in a countryish setting and get the ants every spring, too. I'd rather let 'em live and wait them out. They always go away in a few weeks. In my mind, better ants than those chemicals, plus I never kill anything I don't have to. They say putting cinnamon around the place the ants come in will stop them. Like a line of it--acts as a barrier, I've been told.

Moonie is sleeping now & I need to do a +7~~~~
We have tried enough cinnamon to bake 10 cakes!!-It is not working!!.
Beautiful day here-Gotta wake Moonie up for another test--I feel bad..BRB!

Nice numbers for Moonie today. Hope you got rid of the ants problem. So far I don't have any but I do see spiders, yikes!

Hi Roni and Moonie!!! Stopping in to see how my two fav girls are doing and I see that Ms. Moonie is coming along quite nicely! Love seeing those blue and greens on her ss!

Sorry to hear about the ant problems. I also heard that cayanne pepper is supposed to work also. Before my old neighbors moved, I had a problem with those nasty roaches (ewwwww, yuck, shudder, shudder) twice. I got some boric acid and put that along my baseboards. I got a plastic bottle from the beauty supply store that is used to dye hair so that I was able to blow it under the baseboards and I also put it along the insides of all my closets and cabinates. Worked for that. Not sure if it would work for ants. But I hope that you can get rid of them before you lose your sanity!!

I've never seen so many anthills as this year. They are all over the garden. But we don't get many ants in the house. Try borox + baking soda. That works on NYC roaches, and maybe it will work on ants. Moonie, you have wonderful numbers today! Stu thinks so, too. Keep on surfin'!

Moonie had lovely numbers today and was a very good girl--Also happy because I was home--Got our deck washed & stained, and they hated the intrusion, but it looks really nice!!---Tonite, she was good & they both ate well-Just had to put a little more food down, in case Moonie decides to drop later tonite(I always put a little more food in bowl at nite when she's green)
Well she had a nice run today--I rested a bit--back to working tomorrow--Show Saturday..
