Simon stayed in the greens this morning (just barely!) and he did well all day yesterday. Last night, he was in the high 70's and I have noticed a trend when he is around that number. He seems more active and plays alot more. When I was trying to get ready to go to sleep, he was jumping on top of my civvie, Cleo on the bed and then making her run all around the house. She did not like this much and let him know it with hissing and biting. Finally, he settled down and we were all able to go to sleep.

I am off today so I'm going to run errands and then maybe relax at the pool. It is so nice to have a day off. Here is a picture of Simon this morning. He did not want me to read any bad news in the newspaper so he decided to keep it away from me. Have a great day despite the sweltering heat.

Wow! Look at Simon go! Laying in the pool sounds like the only way to spend the day. Too bad I am stuck here at work or I would join you for a rita! Enjoy your day off!

The picture is adorable. Simon is watching out for you. No news is good news!

love the pic of simon! and what a great run of numbers he's been having!

i had a cat, felix, that would always lay on a piece of paper on the foor if there was one. we always laughed about that!

ahhh...I love the pic of Simon sitting on the newspaper. Cats seem so love sitting on the paper to stir us away from the paper and to pay attention to them, so funny! I think now it's pay back time for Simon once Cleo finds the right timing! Have a nice day and enjoy the pool.

very cute photo! and very nice numbers for Simon too.

I hope you found some relief from the heat - poolside sounds nice!

Wow, Georgia....what a great picture! Simon's numbers are looking as good as he is! :-D One of our kitties loves to lay on any paper she can find, it's impossible to read the newspaper with her around!
