WOW, flat has become Mannie's new middle name. The day before it was all yellow, yesterday was FLAT FLAT BLUE. We had 175, 170 with every test last night. :shock: I remember writing this the other day, after another set of flat cycles: logic has it that today would be flat too, and should be green. Mannie? Is that what we will have, huh? I hope so, cuz well.... the greens are becoming elusive, and well, you know what that means: more juice. You need a jump start, maybe? Lubs ya big guy - let's think green today, OK? :cool: :cool: :razz:

Mannie has a new fav thing! Brushing! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: I know.... how many times have I written about WWIII, Mannie, and the brushing. Got out the Zoom Zoom comb yesterday. Amazing: there he was, purring the whole time I brushed. :o :cool: We even had a serious session of elevator butt as I brushed the rear end. I am so blown away - :-D :-D :-D -even more so by the amount of fur I got off of him. Scary, and perhaps I could have made a new cat with it all. :lol: :lol: All is well in MannieLand today. Breffis consumed: CPC status intact. :cool: No civvie whacking today, and what is up with that? :cool: Nanners artfully arranged before he headed off to the other toy stash. Not big on sharing the toys is he? :lol: :lol:

Have a great day everyone! We are overcast this morning - guess I won't complain after 4 very nice sunny days. I hope to head on down to the shore for a visit before buckling down to more yard work. YAY on the shore, pppphhffttttt on the yard.

Kitchen Krew, and all kitties!!! OTJ party for Titus today! We have much to do - krew is open to any kitties that want to help. It is fun - we gets to sample everything before we serve. YUM! Bus is ready - all prepped with snacks and stuff. See you soon! We is off to Michigan! ~~ Chef Mannie

Really flat numbers yessterday....hopefully today will be better. ;-) Funny on the brushing....Zoe has gone the opposite...used to love it, now she couldn't care less and will avoid it if possible. :roll: ;-) They are strange, fascinating little creatures, aren't they?!!

Ahhhhh....I actually get to start my day with the Mannie Report!!! Nothing better, if you ask me! :-D

Glad to hear Mannie has gotten on board for the brushing. He sounds exactly like Champ now. Champ will sit there as long as I will brush. I end up with piles of fur, all white undercoat. I swear I could knit myself the softest sweater with the amount of fur I get each time I brush him out.

Hi Patty - I am very grateful on the brushing thing. Darn long haired cats really need it daily... i know on the piles of fur one gets.... :lol: :lol:

Morning Sherry - that it was, but it looks like Mannie wants to get down to business today. HOORAY! Oh yes on the brushing. Mannie always used to love it, then one day shortly after his FD dx it was the worst thing ever. It was nice to see him liking this again. What a relief, as he is one of these cats that really should be brushed daily, the mats can get kinda bad.... and yes they are: strange fascinating creatures. :-D

Hi Michelle, Wow, the flat green looks pretty flat (after AMPS, that is). Way to go, Mannie! Too funny about the brushing. Edward does most of Rusty's brushing, but I brushed yesterday and we had a lovely time. I have a friend who spins, and I am tempted to take Rusty's fur brushings to her to see what she can do with it!
Have a great walk to the shore--much more fun than yard work!

Never made it to the shore.... Two weeks ago I bought a netbook. The PC here is in the back room. Mannie and all the testing is in the front room. I was getting so tired of trekking back and forth between the two rooms, so.... opted for something small, portable, internet capable that I can use for logging in Mannie's stuff, posting to the board that I can keep where he is.... anyways.... bought the darn thing and haven't had much time to play with it, so... since it started to rain I elected to forgo the shore and get this thing set up, and running. Mission accomplished!! Now, maybe to the shore....

He really likes that Zoom Zoom, so what the heck - that it will be as long as I can get him brushed. so much fur coming off!! Spinning would be cool - I wonder what your friend would create.

Hi Michelle, oh how nice Mannie looks in greens. Maggie really loves to be brushed also and purrs, purrs the whole time. She is short haired, and I surprised how much hair is in the brush! I always enjoy hearing about Mannie's routine. Hope Mannie keeps surfing these nice numbers. Enjoy your visit at the shore.

Michelle - Could you ask Mannie to talk to Tarragon about brushing? You would think that I was skinning him alive when I come near him with a brush. He might, if I am lucky, let me brush his back, but forget about his belly. WWII was definitely an easier battle with less wounds.

Michelle, I'm lovin Mannie's numbers today! That was so weird last night with the 170, 175 thing going on... :?

Tessie Lou loves to be brushed, scritched, petted, tickled, and just generally massaged! My civvie, TJ, on the other hand is impossible! We have to make a game out of it, where momma bean has to chase him all over the house, then when I catch him, he purrs and lets me brush for about 30 seconds before he's off again. Or, DH has to hold him and distract him by looking outside and showing him stuff while I quickly get a few swipes in. Luckily, he's not real hairy! He's a hoot, that one. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mannie, I can help today for the fuds for the OTJ party! I'm like Tarragon, and feel kinda sleepy from my low numbers, but I can't pass up a chance to be around fuds--and my sugar buddies, too, of course! :razz: See you soon, Tessie Lou

glad to hear the Mannie Report, although slightly concerned about the lack of civvie whacking today. what does this mean? is the end of the world going to be tomorrow? does mannie feel ok? what about the civvies - do they feel neglected? hmmm, inquiring minds want to know.

i've thought about taking punkin's hair to a friend to spin - my goat friend spins. but what would i do with it once it was in yarn? i know how to knit a row if i have to, but am not that thrilled about it. make a punkin-hair scarf? i could do that, i suppose.

it's overcast and coldish here today too. but after a couple of days of sun i can handle it.

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - I am glad that Mannie has taken a turn towards the brushing is good approach. Just last week it was WWIII! This is much better. :cool: and me too on the numbers - it's been a great day so far! thx too on the walk - it was drizzly, but still nice.

Hi Melissa - :-D :-D on the brushing thing. I can so relate to what you say. It hasn't always been this way - just last week..... hisses and growl s and chomps and claws and general nastiness. I wish I had a clue as to what turned him around. maybe it's the brush I used this time - a "Zoom Zoom" - does the job, but doesn't pull.

Hi Sandy - oh I know on last night - that was such a flat line - unreal! oh too funny on TJ and the brushing! I can see the scene. That is too funny, and what we do for our furbabies....

Hi there Michelle, sorry i've been MIA for a couple of days, missing out on all the Mannie fun.. that's great that he is allowing you to brush him. I'm guessing this is something he just doesn't allow, at least not until today?
I'm glad you had a few nice days of weather strung together for Mannie to bask in the sunshine. What beautiful flat numbers throughout the day again too.. That's always nice to see.

Tee hee, I called it!!! Gorgeous green numbers today!!! Love that Mannie is now enjoying being groomed! I took a small cat off of Willie the other day, though I'm sad to say the birds were not interested. Poor guy!! Hope you are having a great day!!

What an amazing day for Mannie today and I think the flat blue yesterday was verra verra nice!!!!! I think Gracie was rubbing off on him altho he had a much better
flat color!!!

Great condo today....wish I had been in on all the fun and look at all those NANNERS!!!! :o :o :o :o :o

Mannie would be in Nanner Heaven with all of those!!

I so want to know that store's location! :lol: :lol: :lol: Mannie would never leave those bins.... -- I thought Mannie would keep up tonight too, but he seems to be leveling out with a low blue. Not too bad.... cycles have been nice. I hope Gracie is doing OK - last I was able to look she was flatlining the yellows again.

And in case this 'puter freezes up again - NI NI early....
