Gracie's Yesterday

This morning involved the return of Big Bird. Today, he was sitting in the mesquite tree in the courtyard. One of the branches comes fairly close to the catio screen. LBG was in the top of her condo and they sat, once again, almost beak to nose. Roadrunners make a rather odd noise like running your fingers up and down corrugated metal. I was trying to get Gracie to eat and she was hilarious because she was staring straight on at him but her little, but long, tongue was flicking at the food. She didn't have her head down to see where the food was so it was hit or miss on the fuds :lol: :lol: :lol: That girl does get distracted. Tobey and I have already played with his interactive mouse toy which he has killed numerous times this morning. It is now mid day, hot, and nap time.
It's looking like we're going to have to eek the dose up. Missy G's BG is trending up and she's spending less time in normal numbers. And she's getting to that 42-day timeframe that we just can't seem to get past with our pens which is just infuriating. We are so careful with them. She gets such a low dose that we still have about 1/2 pen left. Perhaps the threat of a dose increase will bring her down to surf her lovely greens again.
The other day I had the garage doors open while I worked out to get some breeze through there and the landscapers were blowing the yard and driveway and blew a ton of debris in the garage. So I need to move the cars out, vacuum (we have central vac out there thankfully), and then hose it down. Then back to the pool to clean more tile. At least I'm in the pool, can put some tunes on, and just job out
We are having a cool front; it's only going to be 102 today. YIPPEE!!
