It's our every other morning yellow start today. The bouncy behavior let BIC get to bed early last night.
I was a little worried about getting up on time, so set two alarm clocks. About 10 minutes before the alarm, two furry purry alarm clocks came up on the bed. Zener gave his little quiet meow, got up on the bed when the meow alarm didn't work and turned his purr on high volume. And right behind him, the Queen of Everything, jumped up on the bed trilling and allowed me to scratch her back.

After a slow eating start last night, the big guy ate like a lumberjack. Whew.
Chief Inspector Crapdash is working solo this week while Detective Poo is on holiday. The Chief Inspector is not the best multi-tasker but last night Crapdash notice the mighty Z in a thorough search for the best place to dig his way to the center of the earth. Having binoculars at hand, the Chief Inspector, followed the suspicious behavior and ohmygod_smile - Success. Although it was an impressive dig, the deposit was no where near the hole. You gotta love the enthusiasm though.
Liz arrived in KY yesterday and is driving several hours this morning and will arrive at her sister's in southern Illinois mid day.
Wishing all a good day!
