Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty's vet visit caught up with him last night--he was exhausted-- and this morning his AMPS contains some food influence. He woke us up at 5:15 A.M. (PMPS +11) with meows. He had just finished eating his nighttime food (which he did not eat at bedtime). Apparently he had also been downstairs, playing with his bell ball (it was in the dining room this morning). So after our test and shot he decided to go back to sleep and to eat breakfast later. But we encouraged him to eat some of his Wellness turkey and he obliged. So we'll see what he does today. It looks like a nice day, weather wise.

I just finished another stint with trying to fix the kitchen faucet. I think we may have to call a plumber. This faucet has no rubber washers! Today I want to ride the route of the bike ride I am leading tomorrow, just to make sure there are no road-repair surprises.

It sounds like Rusty and Maggie may have been in cahoots with the snacking close to shot time. :-D Is Rusty liking the Wellness with the new batch? Mags is really chowing down on this new chunky batch from Wag. Good luck with the kitchen faucet I am terrible at home fixings. Have a great bike ride. Sounds like fun.

Nice Rusty Report today....glad the vet visit is now a fading memory for him! Hope you have fun on your dry run bike ride today Ella!! I thought riding my bike today sounded like a great idea too...but then I remembered that I don't have one... ohmygod_smile So, have fun enough for the two of us, okay? :lol:

The vet does take it out of them. Glad it is over and Rusty can put that behind him. Have a great time on your ride Ella!!

Hi guys .. poor rusty, so tired after his vet visit! It's a beautiful start to the morning with this mid blue number .. perhaps later on we'll catch some greens ... bummer on the plumbing problems, hope it is an easy fix! Have a great day!

Both Basil And Emmett, my doggie, slept like rocks after the vet visit yesterday. I can only imagine the dreams they must have after that (to them) totally inexplicable experience.

Glad the pancreatitis is not flaring and that Rusty had a good report. Hope he has a great day!

Hi again,
Rusty is still not very hungry today. I can only think that he may be reacting to the FVRCP vaccine and hope that the reaction will wear off this afternoon. He ate a little FF T&G for lunch. Usually he gobbles it up. Now he's sleeping in his basket.

Thunderstorms all around. I think I'll have to drive the route of the bike trip to check it out instead of riding it. I don't want to get caught in a storm on my bike. I don't like riding in heavy rain.

Nicely done Rusty! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: The shot could very well be effecting him or he can sense the storms. Animals do know.

Check at your hardware store. If you have the brand of faucet, they should have a repair kit for the washerless faucet. Or look on line for instructions.

Hi again,
I'm late this evening. One of our oldest and closest friends in NYC lost her beautiful Samoyed to lung cancer. Sally was 13 years old. She was just a joy to be around. We are grieving. I am really glad we got a chance to visit them the last time we were in NY. Sally chose her own time and passed at home, with her beans by her side.

Rusty slept a lot today and perked up quite a bit by PMPS. His appetite has improved, but is not yet back to normal. I gave him a very little FF T&G after getting the 46 at +10.5 because he really wanted food (missed his usual +9 because I was out scouting the bike ride).

Must get to visit a few condos. Sorry if I missed yours tonight!

p.s. the plumber is going to fix the faucet. This faucet is weird: it's not the usual type of washerless faucet.

Sorry about Sally. It always breaks out heart to loss our furry friend, hope the family can find peace.

A nice green curve for Ella! She is so experienced with running the Lantus curve. Ella, you got to teach Rosy!

Very cbnie day for Rusty - I a glad that he is feeling better. Sometimes those shots can make them do nothing but sleep. Good news that he is back to being Rusty.

Good luck with the plumber! and enjoy your ride tomorrow,. Probably good to check out the route. have fun!

Hi again,
Rusty ate all of his dinner and his bedtime snack and is now "staging" his climb up the stairs. This is always preceded by some meows.

So sorry about your friend's dear Sally!! Hurts so so badly!! Rusty will be just fine by tomorrow & back to his old self--I know I have to recoup from dr visits sometimes! So why not Rusty??
No biking in the rain! We want you to be dry!!
Everytme I try to do plumming, it usually results in having to call the plummer...
Sorry about the $$, but it's your faucet!
