Aftnoon--Finally made plane reservations so that's done.
DA was a little bit better seeing her DS & DGD yesterday, & they'll be there today too..
I will be there Sat. through Mon. and DH will be giving Moonie her shot tonite!
Found a photo from old board of how her dose would look that I blew up yrs ago when Moonie was on these mini doses...the 0.3U& 0.4U looks right..Hope he gets somewhere near it & will be happy with her under the renal threshold under 250 & in the 100's while I will be gone..
I am so worried, but I know he wants to do this badly! Pray that he can...we'll see tonite.

Hope all kitties are doing well, Hope Rocket will be better, sweet boy--Hope we all have a good evening!

Oh Roni! ((((Hugs)))) Let DH help you out. He and Moonie will be fine and it will be good for all of you. I'm so glad you are going. Hugs to you!!

Roni, hugs and prayers that all goes well with DH. Don't worry as he will do fine as he doesn't want you to stress. So glad you have the reservations and are making the trip.

Roni, I'm sorry you have reason to make this trip, but I'm glad you're going to see your aunt.
Hubby will do well, because he wants to. It makes a difference. :-D

I'm glad to hear your DA is doing a little bit better. Don't worry Moonie and your DH will be fine while you're gone. Have a safe trip.

Glad to hear your aunt is doing a little better, and your plans are all settled. No doubt DH will do fine with Miss Moonie!!

Hi Roni,

I'm glad you're able to go to FL to see your DA. That will make both of you feel better. I'm sure everything will be fine at home. I hope you have a great trip and visit. My best wishes to your DA for her improved health.

Roni, Moonie, Brad: Thinking of you all tonight and sending more healing vines to your DA.

Hey Brad, it wasn't so difficult giving Moonie her shot, was it! I'm sure you did a great job. Moonie, be a good girl and stay nice and calm for your papabean when he gives the shots.

Roni, I'm very glad that you'll be going to see your aunt. It's good that her condition is improving, and having family around will help her immensely. Don't worry about Moonie and Brad: they'll do just fine.

Be safe, Roni! I hope your DA gets better with each new day.

DH is going to do great! My DH was really nervous at first and now he is an old pro. It is wonderful to always be able to have a back-up when you can't get home in time for the shot. Tag time is the best!

It's good to hear that you DA is doing a little better. I hope she will improve even more by the time you get there. don't worry, moonie and Brad will do fine. John helps a lot w/ Tess, but couldn't bring himself to test and shoot until the first time I had to go out of town. He did just fine that time and still does. It doesn't mean I don't worry when I'm away, as I know you will. But Brad can do it. Take a deep breath and know that you must do this. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
Didnt hear from family tonite about my DA-
DH did the shot!! But he has a Very Hard Time getting the dose right!! He cant get a hold of the syringe, & plunger--Then there are the bubbles!! Big fingers are hard to work with...
Maybe I should measure it out & out duct tape in the syringe where he should draw the insulin to?
That's what I do with the vet tech...
Well we have 2 more nights of him shooting, hopefully by then he will be better--
At least Moonie didnt take off :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Roni - just a late night HELLOOOOOOOO RONI AND MOONIE! Kudos to DH on the shot stuff - very cool. He will get it - I think it's great he is even trying. Go DH!
