So I gave him .6u. Hopefully that is enough to get him low. Hopefully it isn't going to get him too low. ???

Yes I agree he does better with consistent doses. I can't wait to figure that out... :?

Beautiful AMPS this morning. Very interested to see what kind of cycle the 0.6 brings for Merlin. :-D

Looks like I could have gone .8u today. Hopefully he will run flat for the rest of the day.

He may continue to slide down for you yet today. Sometimes if a kitty is clearing a bounce, you can get a later nadir than usual.

Nice slow rise. Hope he stays under his AMPS 265 in two hours. Come on Merlin ... 265 is our PMPS goal.

Yeah I am so happy with this number. I am thinking another .6u? He typically runs higher over night but flatter. So maybe even a .8u? I am kind of leaning towards .6u since he does a little better with a little less insulin however, I would be willing to try .8u if you think that is a better dose.

Done - a .6u it is. I feel more comfortable with that. I will plan to test at +4 tonight. I have to run over to my parents house to get it ready for the return home from Michigan. Tomorrow, I will be gone all day or at least until 1pm so I will only be able to get a +4 before I leave. Hoping for another mid or lower 200 AMPS number.

Today he was feeling much better. He had about six mini-meals throughout the day. I was hoping to start his fluids tomorrow but when I went into Phoenix to pick them up, my alternator went out my truck so back home I came. Hopefully tomorrow, I will be able to pick them up.

Hopefully surfing all night long. It is almost like at night, I could almost give him .2u more than I would normally give at am.
