I'm back home and very glad to see my kitties. They seem happy to see me, as well. I'm not sure what to make of that in the door test number other than neither Gabby nor Gizmo ate all that much today. They were on a FF diet vs. raw plus FF and from what my DPS said, their tummies were a little upset (i.e., puddingpoo) from the abrupt food transition.

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127

Hope you had a nice time Sienne...hoping that the kitties will get back to normal now that their dear Mama is home....they must have missed you sooooo much! Welcome back!!

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

I shot a skinny 1.5u (DPS was shooting 1.0) and Gabby got some HC with dinner since it was a dropping number.

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

Welcome home, Sienne. I hope those low numbers are a welcome home present for you and that Gabby will surf tonight.

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

Huh. I would be interested in a curve on that 1.0 U DPS BCS dose.

You might be in for a long night! Glad you made it home safe!

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

Oh. DPS isn't able to test. She tried. She said, "Gabby got angry." Given that we've had situations where Gabby wouldn't let my former DPS shoot, we opted for shoot over test. It's not ideal by any means but I'd rather she got the insulin.

I suspect the lower numbers are due to neither Gabby nor Gizmo eating well. We are currently dealing with liquipoo/puddingpoo from the all FF diet for the past few days. They ate well tonight -- they were back to their usual raw.

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

It's great to see you back, Sienne. Hope you had a successful meeting. Gabby and Gizmo did fine, considering that their diets were changed abruptly. Should one always feed a little HC with a dropping number at PMPS? And how steep of a drop would one have to see before considering it to be a drop? (or is this technique specific to Gabby?) Just curious.
Have a fine, relaxing evening with your kitties.

feel better, Gabby.

I think Mom wants to stay up all night, see what you can do about that, ok Gabby?

Re: 6/6 Gabby +9~127, PMPS~106

Thanks for the clarification, Sienne. I knew that you were using food to control Gabby's bounces, but I didn't know the specifics and that the food manipulation could start so early in a cycle. Good luck tonight!

Nice of Gabby to meet you with such great numbers!
Sorry it ended up going in the wrong direction, though.

Good to see you back! Bet you are thrilled to be able to view all the ss's again!
(WHY cant they make these work with phones?!?! I think the droid is the only one. I can get a version of the ss on my phone, but its really worthless because you can only read one number at a time...w/o being able to view date, comments, etc next to it).

Well, ni ni! Hope things settle into normal very quickly.
