Checking in late tonight... been a long day! Got up right after Willie's morning business so I could get started packing. I didn't have the main a/c going (my landlord is very particular about how it is installed and doesn't want us doing it ourselves), and the kitchen always gets very warm when it's hot outside regardless of how much a/c is blowing! Got alot of packing and laundry done today, so that was good. Willie went out for some patio time this morning, and I suspect he nibbled on a tomato plant. He spent most of the day seeming to feel quite yucky, and even was hiding under a chair much of the day and would get upset if I brought him out. I ran a couple errands and brought home Panera for dinner. I shared my turkey sandwich with Willie, and within 5-10 minutes, it was pukus galorus. He seems to feel much better now, though we fed baby food with some probiotic supplements for dinner as a precaution. His numbers continue to be just fantastic. No complaints there!!

Minor setback on the arm today as it appeared to have some infection issues. Removed the glue to clean it and get some antibiotic ointment in it, and just bought what I swear was half the wound care aisle at Walgreens. Monitoring it carefully and will go back to the doctor if it doesn't continue to improve, but I think I'm doing okay on my own at this point.

Okay, off to get a bit more work done and then turn in early. But for it being light outside, it feels like it is 11pm or midnight instead of 8:15!!!

Yike, Christie - take care of that arm! Sounds like the move is moving along nicely!

Awesome numbers for Willie...hopefully the pukus is an isolated incident. Have a great evening, guys!

Hey Christie, I'm not so sure I'd want to take you up on that trade (although I'm pretty good at packing boxes). Your arm might get worse in the miasma of our cellar!!! Do take care of it. Are you taking antibiotics? In any event, keep the wound clean. I think it's good that you removed the glue. That glue would make it difficult to clean the wound. And I believe that the wound should be allowed to "breathe". The most important thing is to keep it clean and to change the bandage frequently. But if I were you I would go back to the doctor. Don't fool around with an infection. Most of those "first-aid" creams and ointments, etc. are for minor scrapes, not deep or open wounds.

Awesome numbers for Willie.
