Yes indeed, that 58 was brought to you by Mr P working solo...it has been 6 weeks (I think...I'm starting to lose track) now without juice! I still can't believe it myself, but because we stopped shooting so abruptly, I can't bring myself to stop testing regularly, just in case....
I am holding my breath as I say this, but both last night and this morning, Trix has eaten REALLY well (by her new standards). She almost CPCed her first round of breakfast without me holding the plate or rearranging the food for her. She was on the ottoman and not the floor with the common folk, but who cares about location when fuds are going down the hatch? She almost CPCed her second round, too, with just a little bit of MamaBean encouragement - but not as much as she was requiring.
I think she may have actually eaten some of the fuds I left out during the day yesterday, too, although I don't know that for sure. But, her PMBG was in the normal range, and since eating lowers her BGs, I have a feeling it is definitely possible that she ate some time during the afternoon.
I also saw her take a graceful flying leap onto the ottoman last night. She really hasn't had trouble jumping onto furniture during this pancreatitis episode, but at the same time, she has stopped and calculated before jumping. But last night, she just came trotting into the family room and in one fluid motion she was on the ottoman
!
So more kitten steps. It's funny how you don't notice all their itty bitty behaviors until those behaviors go missing and then start coming back. With the FD, I thought I was so aware of all of Trixie's Trixie-isms, but apparently not...there is always something to learn, absorb, and observe!
It was a long night with civvie Frankie last night...she was in hyper-overdrive. I iz a tired bean...not sure I can squeeze that workout in this morning, but I may try....
Have a great day, LL!
