Yes indeed, that 58 was brought to you by Mr P working solo...it has been 6 weeks (I think...I'm starting to lose track) now without juice! I still can't believe it myself, but because we stopped shooting so abruptly, I can't bring myself to stop testing regularly, just in case....

I am holding my breath as I say this, but both last night and this morning, Trix has eaten REALLY well (by her new standards). She almost CPCed her first round of breakfast without me holding the plate or rearranging the food for her. She was on the ottoman and not the floor with the common folk, but who cares about location when fuds are going down the hatch? She almost CPCed her second round, too, with just a little bit of MamaBean encouragement - but not as much as she was requiring.

I think she may have actually eaten some of the fuds I left out during the day yesterday, too, although I don't know that for sure. But, her PMBG was in the normal range, and since eating lowers her BGs, I have a feeling it is definitely possible that she ate some time during the afternoon.

I also saw her take a graceful flying leap onto the ottoman last night. She really hasn't had trouble jumping onto furniture during this pancreatitis episode, but at the same time, she has stopped and calculated before jumping. But last night, she just came trotting into the family room and in one fluid motion she was on the ottoman :-D !

So more kitten steps. It's funny how you don't notice all their itty bitty behaviors until those behaviors go missing and then start coming back. With the FD, I thought I was so aware of all of Trixie's Trixie-isms, but apparently not...there is always something to learn, absorb, and observe!

It was a long night with civvie Frankie last night...she was in hyper-overdrive. I iz a tired bean...not sure I can squeeze that workout in this morning, but I may try....

Have a great day, LL!

Amy

Re: 6/5 Trixie AMBG 134 "+3+" 58

She seems to be doing a wonderful job on her own, and I hope that she continues doing so for you. Like you, I'd be constantly testing her, too. It's habit forming, and sometimes it's hard to break habits, isn't it? :-D Hoping you both have a very wonderful day! Keep up the excellent work, you 2! :-D

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

What an awesome WCR today. Has it really been 6 weeks? I guess we ab truly label trixie as OTJ. That is just so cool! And to have to happen so suddenly. That so reminds me of Celi and Binks.... Just very cool all around. I think it is wise too to continue to test. One just never knows, and this way: no surprises.

Nice to read too on the fuds, and all on her own,. Well done Trixie. :-D

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

What a great condo! Love that 58 too. Wow. 6 weeks is a long time. (anti-jinx) So glad she is eating better, at least for yesterday. Have a great day Amy!

Trix, you are one in a million! I think you are testing, Amy, because you can't quite believe it (neither can I) and you are ready to give her some joos the instant you see a higher number. Paws crossed that you never do. And YAY for a happy appy. :-D :-D Sending some chill vines for Frankie...

The Word for the Day is: WOW!!!

Amy, we are so happy that Trix is doing well. You are doing a fantastic job. Do we need an (anti-jinx)? Doesn't look like we do. Have a wonderful day,

Re: 6/5 Trixie AMBG 134 "+3+" 58

Six weeks already? Wow. Totally awesome. Even better is the return of yet another Trixie-ism! :-D :-D I'm so happy for you, Amy, I could just burst. You and Trixie have been through so much - you deserve this wonderful progress!

Now, about Frankie.... You've been giving Trixie so much attention during all this, is Frankie feeling left out? You know I have a night howler, too, although mine doesn't try to break into the bedroom, so I don't have an answer for that. If I recall, you've tried Feliway and Rescue Remedy, right? Have you tried playing with her for an extended period before bedtime to wear her out (I'm sure you have time in your busy schedule for that, right? )? I don't know what else to suggest, but you do have my deepest sympathy, FWIW!

I hope you can get some rest tonight. Sending calming vines for Frankie.

Nice PMBG...so-so on the appy so far this evening. Hopefully it'll pick up in a bit...meds are done; we still have fluids.

We've tried Feliway and calming treats. We've tried playing with her for hours. We've tried being calm with the lights down TV off for hours. What it really boils down to is Frankie just wants to be with us...more specifically, me. If DH goes to bed and I stay up, all is well. If I go to bed and DH stays up, she scratches at the door. She'll be sleeping like a rock, but no matter how quiet and stealthy I trie to be, if I attempt to sneak off to bed, she wakes up.

We have some territorial issues with trying to let her in the bedroom....long, convoluted story, but Zen really isn't happy when anyone else is in there. I think we may need to try spending our July staycation desensitizing him about that.....

I am definitely beat right now!

Hi Amy,
I am so happy to hear that Trixie is making such wonderful improvements. :-D
I hope her appy picked up this evening.

Super day for Trix and what a splendid WCR. I hope she has eaten more tonight and will eat tomorrow...and jump!

Oh gosh, I thought you had the Zen/Frankie issues resolved and were getting some sleep. I hope it sorts out fast.
