Today did not start out well. In hindsight, I should have given Harvey the tummy meds before I went to bed. He ate only a bite or two of his t/f/s meal, then didn't want his breakfast. I gave the meds, and 90 minutes later he still wasn't eating. Then he threw up clear liquid (but no pills). Still didn't want to eat. I gave him Cerenia and Pepcid. About 10 minutes later he threw up more clear liquid, and the last gelcap.
I was debating about an injection of Ondansetron, but another 10 minutes later he ate some of the second food I offered him. He hasn't thrown up again since. He ate about half a serving. Not ideal, but I think I'll let him take it at his own pace for now. He's a bit more subdued today than he has been lately. I was wanting to give him Bupe, but didn't want to do it on an empty tummy. Now that he's eaten and kept it down, I guess I'll go ahead with that.
Another hot day here, but cooler than the past two, and we had a lovely, cool night last night. I haven't turned on the A/C yet today, but it's approaching that point. As soon as I start moving around, I'm sure I'll want it on. The NASCAR race in Pocono was rained out, so I'll have to get up and watch it tomorrow morning.
Today I'm going to try to tackle one of those projects I've been putting off. Wish me luck!
