Oh this is totally my fault. This crummy number I mean. This has not been a stellar week for us here. I landed up in the hospital on Tuesday(the day I was supposed to get botox for migraines and now can't until June 28)with an attack of diverticulitis and have been in bed all week, Jackson got super constipated from all the bupe after his surgery and needed an enema yesterday which made him kinda sick...and the one who suffered the most was poor Alex. Not physically but his shot times and testing were slightly(okay) a lot off schedule this week and although I felt guilty about it there was only so much I could do. But he seems to be no worse for wear....he is is same cheerful self. His appetite is great. His depression over Jackson's surgery is gone and of all things...and this I could NOT believe....and thought I would never see again (right there alongside the belly rubbing), Alex has been sleeping in his big wicker chair in my bedroom again. It has a stuffed lion and tiger on it and that was 'his' chair for years. When he was diagnosed with diabetes he just STOPPED going on that chair like he didn't know it existed. All of a sudden this week when I was sick, I woke up one afternoon and there he was. 19 months later! And he has been going back and cuddling with his 'friends' every day :-D There is nothing else left for him to do to bring him back to his normal "Alexness" (well, except becoming non-diabetic and other stuff but I gotta be realistic here)

All p's are in order for Alex. A&J both had breffis and got new toys(catnip lemon and apple), and they are both taking their morning snoozle.

As for Jackson...well he's feeling a little under the weather from the enema and he's eating baby food today...but his biopsy came back NEGATIVE!!!! and I have no doubt that this was very much due to all the prayers and support we received here. We feel blessed, especially in light of so much sadness lately and we humbly thank you !

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Love,
Caryl, Alex and Jackson

Sorry to hear about the crummy past few days Caryl. I hope things are starting to look up for you and Jackson. Great news on the negative on Jackson's biopsy!! :RAHCAT

Thanks for stopping by Leo's condo and giving me some encouraging words. I don't know if you've stopped by since you posted your comment, but yes i do give Leo 4mg of methyl B12 a day, it hasn't done anything that i have noticed. But when i saw that you started out giving Alex 6 mg a day, i think i'll do the same and see if it makes any difference.

Have a great Sunday Caryl and kitties!

Yeah it seems that way....and my mom having lung cancer that she's not treating doesn't help either. But who's counting. Sometimes I feel that if someone looks at me the wrong way I just might fall apart

GO ALEX

Re: 6/5 Alex AMPS 311,+4-240,+8-107

Caryl, so sorry to hear about your bad week. Diverticulitis is pretty painful so I'm hoping you are feeling a little better. And bummer on not being able to get the botox for the migraines for a few more weeks. But even though you have had some tough times, the good things definitely make up for the bad. Congratulations on the good news for Jackson. What a relief! And Alex must have wanted you to feel better so he decided to get back on his chair. 19 months is a long time to not do something and then all of a sudden go back to doing it ---definitely a good sign. Take care and have a restful evening.

Thanks Tracy! It couldn't hurt to give Leo a little more. You want to heal those nerves in those leggies as much as you can! Another thing to be careful of...and I know this from experience...is linoleum floors. Alex nearly broke his leg more than once from slipping on the kitchen floor. He was in such agony it took him three days to recover each time. I was terrified. Each time he did it I thought he blew a blood clot cause he has a bad heart but his legs had gone under him on a slippery floor. I finally went to home depot and got a runner that goes the length of the floor and we haven't had that problem since.

You and Leo have a great night too!

That is sweet with Alex in the wicker chair again. It's as if he is telling you everything is going to be okay and trying to comfort you. Sorry you have been so sick. I hope soon things turn around for you. That is great news with Jackson's biopsy. LL prayers do work.

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: You have been through a lot lately, but it looks like Alex didn't take the time changes to heart, verra nice +8! I'm so relieved that Jackson's biopsy came back negative.

I love when they start doing things they used to do. Tess gets in a set routine and then suddenly changes. Some I really miss, she hasn't slept with us all winter and spring.

I am so glad to hear this good news. I get what you're saying about being THISCLOSE to losing it. Stupid things that don't usually bother you cause crying fits and breakdowns. Maybe you're like me and hold everything in, and then look out below if the dam breaks... :-| Very happy that things are looking up for Alex and Jackson and as always they bring joy to your heart.
